- JGJake Garcia1 day ago1.0Don’t call them unless you are replacing all your windows. It’s been almost three weeks now and no one has been by to even check out our 1 window that needs to be replaced.
- JSjames simmonsJan 15, 20262.0Called to get a estimate on a mirrored slider closet door with cracked glass. I gave them the dimensions and explained that just the glass was cracked the frame was still fine. They explained how they would have to see the door to give an accurate price but they estimated the cost at $345 with a additional fee of $300 if they were to pick up. Fortunately I was able to fit the door in my suv and bring it down later that day. Upon inspecting the door I was told because of the finger pull handle and the frame type it would be more close to $404.00. I said that was fine and paid a $100.00 deposit. They called me back later that day to tell me the tech looked at it and it was now gonna cost $513.00 to which I agreed again and just wanted the door fixed and done. When the door was finally picked up and brought home (not by me) the finger pull handle hadn’t even been replaced. My low rating is due to the fact that not only did the price go up but one of the main reasons told to me for the increase was because of the handle and they didn’t even replace it! There were two things to fix on that door, the glass and replace the handle they couldn’t even do both of those two things.
- SLSandra LongneckerSep 15, 20255.0I was desperate when I stopped in to get one broken window repaired. I had tried many other “advertised companies” but the job was too small. Lisa sent someone out to measure and I received an estimate the following morning which was cheaper than the ballpark estimates over the phone. Two days later, Rob installed the new window! With all the homes on golf courses that get a ball through the window, Palm Desert Glass is invaluable in the desert! I give it a 10 plus!
- HPHenry PofiJun 26, 20235.0Came to my home to find a golf ball had gone though a window. I called Lisa at PD Glass and she sent someone over right away to estimate the job. While he was there I had him look at another window with a small chip/hole. They gave ma a great price on both and came back in 3 days with brand new windows and installed them in less than an hour! Fantastic Job!!
