Do not buy critical appliances such as fridges from the Brick. They outsource their store warranty coverage to a third party provider that in turn subcontracts it out to a fourth party subcontractor that exclusively hires temporary workers with no appliance repair experience.
Our fridge has been broken for almost a month now. They have sent out a worker three times to repair it, with no progress made. Every visit requires taking time off work, not to mention all of the time spent on the phone, so by now it would have been cheaper to just pay to repair it ourselves.
Supposedly our warranty coverage also includes replacement of lost food. However, when you actually try to avail yourself of this coverage, both the Brick and the warranty provider deny responsibility, telling you to contact the other. Neither stands by their guarantee to offer loaner unit. The third party warranty provider meanwhile says that they have no control or responsibility over the repair workers sent out, because this is handled by the fourth party subcontractor.
Save yourself the trouble and buy appliances elsewhere. The Brick does not stand behind its products.

Dealing with the Brick was a great experience from start to finish. I had originally gone to Home Depot, but it was impossible to get any service, so I went to the Brick where I had previously had a great experience, and they did not disappoint. The second I walked through the door, a super nice young fellow by the name of Serge greeted me, and walked me directly to the section I was looking for. He was extremely nice and helpful and got me exactly what I was looking for. At checkout I had the pleasure of meeting the manager, who was also fantastic and reassuring. It was so nice going in to a store, and actually having knowledgable and helpful people around. The delivery was also fantastic. Right on time, - no wasting half my day wondering when they would show up, and the two fellows were quick and super efficient. Fantastic job to all of you at The Brick! It was a great experience from the second I walked through your door!

My parents took delivery of their mattress and Seth and Joe were the delivery drivers and they had to take their old mattress away, they did everything perfectly. Both Seth and Joe are very professional and helpful as my parents are unable to do things for themselves. They even put their bed rails on the bed for them, which they did not have to do. It was a huge help to my family. Thank you, Seth and Joe for being fantastic workers and just great all around human beings!!

I had a very positive experience at The Brick. Initially, I visited the store just to browse mattresses, but Karen assisted us and guided us through some excellent options. Thanks to her knowledge and approach, we ended up purchasing not only a mattress but also a bed frame.
Karen is an outstanding salesperson who truly understands her job and has a great ability to close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction. She also went above and beyond by helping us later with installation issues when we discovered some parts and hardware were missing after delivery.
Additionally, the customer service team was very helpful and patient in addressing our concerns regarding the missing parts.
Overall, The Brick provided a great experience, and I’m now enjoying my first new mattress and bed in Canada.

I ordered a new electric range from online at The BRICK in November 2025 and due to back order was only able to pick it up at the end of Feb2026. As the appliance was destined for Pelee Island I was ok with the delay and could store the appliance until the ferry in April. Yesterday I was able to bring the appliance across. Unfortunately when we installed the electric range the burner knobs, oven towel/opener and anti-tip bar was missing. I called the Windsor BRICK store and was told to contact the manufacturer, the store would not assist. Pelee Island has poor cell phone service and I asked that the store call. I was refused. The CSR offered to read me their policy as to why they would not assist and sent me the manufacture’s contact details.
I paid for a full appliance and did not receive same. I feel that the store is responsible to provide what was paid for. The CSR did not and would not even assist with the call. I therefore will not ever purchase from The BRICK again. In a time when purchase Canadian is recommended (which is why I did) I suggest that The BRICK improve their customer support services.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.
