  AVOID THIS LOCATION!! We purchased a 3-piece sectional couch from Leon’s Whitby, delivered on December 31, 2024, along with an extended warranty (approx. $500). We were assured the warranty would cover issues such as stains and, if unresolvable, the couch would be replaced.The couch itself was worth $4,000. Shortly after delivery, the couch began sinking despite minimal use. We reported the issue on January 17, 2025, and were told it could be replaced if needed. However, the process was repeatedly delayed for months, with no proper resolution until a technician inspection in December 2025. After inspection, a temporary foam fix was applied in March 2026, but the couch quickly began sinking again. We were later told the warranty had expired due to delays caused by Leon’s handling of the case, not by us. We also experienced poor customer service, including unprofessional communication and lack of follow-up from staff. The manager stated they could not help because it had “passed the 1-year warranty,” despite repeated delays and the issue being continuously dragged on by the company’s handling of our claim. The couch was barely used and appears to be made of low-quality materials. We are very disappointed with both the product and the service.

  A huge thank you to Martin for helping us find a good couch for our new place. He was very nice to my daughter as well which I really appreciated as the other furniture stores we were shopping in didn’t even acknowledge her. Martin shared his tape measure with her and gave her a cool new pair of sunglasses. 😎 thanks again. We will be back!

  I worked with Kevin today who was incredible at his job. He was very informative and explained everything to me so I understand the importance of different warranties. I highly recommend they have a great sale on right now

  For two consecutive days my husband and I went to three different major appliance stores looking for a refrigerator to replace our refrigerator which is no longer cooling. Aside from seeing the floor models, we asked questions as well. The sales persons were all kind and dutifully answered our questions. We also went to Leon’s Furniture in Whitby because of the advertisement that they sell not only furniture but appliances as well. To our surprise, our search for refrigerator ended at Leon’s. The big factor why we closed the deal was Hussain. Initially, he informed us that Leon is proudly a Canadian company who is in business for 117 years providing exceptional customer service. To quote Hussain “Leon will do everything to please the customers specially in time of “trouble”. As someone who is always in the kitchen, what he said was so comforting. Hussain also mentioned Leon’s L2 360 degree Warranty. It is a protection plan that we have to pay extra and if this is not use within the length of warranty, we can refund as store credit. We don’t lose! For us, this is what protection is supposed to mean. The refrigerator that we bought was LG 30-inch Wide, 22 cu. ft., French Door, Freestanding. Delivery is on Friday, May 8, 2026. Just in time for Mother’s Day. I am excited! BTW, the delivery is free. Thank you, Hussain!

  I am very disappointed with my pickup experience. I purchased the item online and spoke with two different representatives who both confirmed that the store opens at 9:00 AM for pickup. Based on that information, we arrived Tuesday morning before 9:00 AM. However, the store was closed, and the signage indicated that the store opens at 10:00 AM. I then called Leon’s Whitby again, and after explaining that I had spoken with two people who said 9:00 AM, someone at the store was able to open the door for us. This inconsistency caused unnecessary inconvenience and confusion. Additionally, the item was advertised online as including storage drawers, but when we received it, there was no storage. When I called the store, I was told that my order does not include storage and that I would need to pay an additional $450 for that feature. This is very frustrating, as the online advertisement clearly indicated that the bed included storage. I would appreciate clarification and a resolution regarding the misleading information and the discrepancy with the product description.
