However, I clearly stated several times that I only needed the storage unit for nine weeks, from March 31st to June 1, and even offered to pay upfront. Instead, I was enrolled in automatic billing, and the agreed rental period was not reflected in the contract. On May 26, I was charged $155 for an additional full month, even though I only needed the unit until June 1. When I contacted the facility, I was told the payment had already been processed and could not be reversed. No partial refund or prorated solution was offered, despite the fact that I would not be using most of that billing period. I also left a detailed voicemail for the regional manager but never received a response. I am disappointed by the lack of flexibility and communication. I was clear about my rental timeline from the beginning and feel I was charged for time I did not need.
