Had a wonderful experience at this location. I was looking for a specific 3M tape and needed assistance picking the proper one. I believe the young man’s name was either Landon or London, he was able to tell me the differences between the selection the store has and reassured me we picked the proper one. Ultimately I got home and he was right, the 3M tape worked perfectly and I am thrilled with this and his knowledge. Props to you and thank you!

Zero customer service.
White haired lady working the customer service desk near the plumbing section should consider retiring, not very personable and quick to blow a customer off.
I brought in my own lithium ion battery that had died and asked if I can get a replacement ordered and she was quick to just say nope, she can't get Kobalt batteries and New York state Lowes is probably best. I do not care what brand of battery it is, just wanted a battery that would work. ..Anyways, I'll try home depot in Niagara Falls, if no luck there, off to Amherst, New York I go for a battery, if they cannot help, I'll just buy a new grass trimmer and leaf blower from the Amherst Lowe's location.

Honestly had a terrible experience at the Welland Rona yesterday.
If I could give zero stars, I would. As a new homeowner trying to get my yard sorted for the upcoming summer, I placed an online order for a lawnmower, trimmer, and leaf blower, opting for what was supposed to be a convenient curbside pickup. Instead, it turned into over an hour-long ordeal.
Sometime after receiving my pickup confirmation that everything was ready for pickup I arrived, parked in a designated spot and submitted the pickup arrival request ... then waited 10 minutes with no sign of staff. I followed the additional instructions on the sign post to call the store. An employee answered, put me on a makeshift hold after I explained I'm parked and asked if they received my request for pickup where I could hear a confused "broken telephone" exchange of my information, and then seemingly muted the line. After 8 minutes of saying "hello" now and again to dead air, I hung up and called back, only for the phone to ring endlessly for another 5 minutes.
Frustrated, I went inside and spoke with the cashiers who had absolutely no clue about my order. Eventually, they handed me the trimmer and leaf blower that was behind them, with no sign of my lawnmower, and told me to take my paperwork to the "yard" for the mower as they didn't have it up front. I drove around to the yard, but the attendant there was equally confused. I had to get out of my vehicle and wander the entire lumber yard with the attendant to find the specific lawnmower. We found them inside eventually, but it required a forklift to get them down due to height and weight.
To make matters worse, once we finally found them, I was informed the only employee certified to operate the forklift had just gone on lunch. Basically from there it was employees looking to see if there were any others on the floor anywhere, a manager attempting to use a lift to get the lawnmower down, etc. By the end of it, I had to wait an additional 30 minutes just to get the item I had already paid for and was confirmed ready for pickup.
What is the point of an online pickup system if you don't even pick the items for pickup and have them ready and nearby for pickup... The system failed on multiple fronts and was a really frustrating and disappointing experience.
Edit: I gave the Welland Rona (Owner)'s response we gave them a call at the number listed and explained the situation to the person at the help center, Usin?, they simply asked "So what do you want me to do?" Asked about what the situation was a handful more times. I requested a manager as I didn't want to speak to them anymore and the call was going no where with them. What do I want? Honestly, not sure, you're the ones that provided this experience yesterday and continue to do so through your "help" center. Disrespectful.

Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?

Can I rent a truck at this location?
Yes. We offer truck rentals at this location. To reserve a truck, please contact the store directly. Availability may be limited, especially during peak seasons, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm before visiting.
How do I know that truck/van is available for rental at RONA location?
If you see a truck or van parked at the store, that’s the first sign that it’s available for rent. To save yourself a trip, you can call the RONA store’s customer service desk ahead of time to confirm availability. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
