    Shamir at Rona was very friendly and helpful during my visit. He had a great attitude, helped me find what I needed, and provided excellent customer service. Really appreciated his help!

    All I have to say is do not buy online at Rona. I never got my package. Called them a few times and I still waiting for a reply. They can’t either return my money or deliver the package, every time you call they say they will do it and send an email and nothing happens. There is nowhere to go solve the problem in person as physical stores won’t deal with that. When you go to store, it’s hard to find help, if you want a cashier to cash you out you need to go ask for one otherwise you need to use the self checkout.

    Poor customer service. Called to ask for information on where their cedar trees were grown (they advised locally grown) and made effort to go to location to purchase. Upon arrival I realized information was incorrect and they were actually grown on the west coast. Quite frustrating to waste my time but very glad I double checked before taking them home.

    I ordered a bunch of chairs from Rona for a business in downtown Toronto. The order was delayed, and then when it arrived, it did so in packaging that was literally falling apart. Several chairs were damaged. I emailed Rona asking for a partial refund. They told me that I would have to bring in the damaged chairs physically so they could see them. I told them that it was not worth my time to bring them physically damaged chairs that they damaged just for a partial refund. They remained unwilling to provide any refund of any sort. I will not be shopping with them again and would recommend others act accordingly. I'll also be submitting a complaint to the BBB.

    I ordered two American Standard toilets to be installed using their contractors. One of the toilets arrived defective yet they installed anyways. Upon calling Rona customer service (as advised by installers) I was told they could not help and I had to go through American Standard directly. Why install the toilet knowing it was defective? They new the part was defective prior to installing (they did not ask me to install the defective toilet - they went ahead and installed regardless). I called American Standard who was excellent to deal with and sent me the part directly to replace. Upon replacing the part myself I found out that the installer clearly installed the part incorrectly causing the whole issue in the first place. Very disappointed Rona did not go the extra mile to satisfy replacement of the part and left it to me to source and fix.
