- LWLori Whaley1 day ago5.0Kudos to Dave in Windows and Doors. He was super helpful and went above and beyond what you experience in customer service today. We needed shutters for our home and they were not available where we lived. He not only looked to make sure they were in stock. He called me back to let me know he got them down and placed them at customer service for me. I explained that I lived 90 min away and wanted them shipped to my home. He not only asked fellow colleagues how to do this he once again called me back to explain the process. He was determined for me to get these shutters. I received 4 calls from him in total explaining each process along the way. He was kind and friendly each and every time. I never expected one call back let alone 4. I hope Rona knows what they have in this employee and gives him the accolades he deserves. A person who hasn’t forgotten about what customer service is all about. Thanks Dave

When I first approached the billing desk for assistance, the person working there was unfortunately not knowledgeable at all and seemed entirely unwilling to help. I was left feeling stuck and dismissed. Thankfully, that is when a fantastic Nethushan stepped in. Seeing that I needed help, this associate went completely above and beyond. Instead of just pointing me toward an aisle, he took the time to listen to my project needs. The Manager Pouya, was also outstanding to understand my requirements and ensured I got enough attention. Advice to Rona customers, in case you are lost, search for Pouya the manager or Nethushan. You will not be disappointed.

Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your official sales receipt will be given to you when you complete the transaction at the store where you pick up your items. How do I know that truck/van is available for rental at RONA+ location?
If you see a truck or van parked at the store, that’s the first sign that it’s available for rent. To save yourself a trip, you can call the RONA store’s customer service desk ahead of time to confirm availability. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
