- AAAJun 26, 20261.0One star for how a basic return was handled. I bought Cabot stain at the Midland RONA, which told me to buy extra and bring back whatever I didn't use. So I bought the whole stock, used what I needed, and brought 3 unused cans to this store within the 90 day window with the receipt. The associate flagged their condition but rang up my refund anyway, and only stopped when she saw this store doesn't stock the item. The manager (Greg) then refused, citing that same condition plus shifting reasons, and sent me out. The cans were sold to me that way by RONA: some dented, one a prior return, one (pictured) hard-settled into sludge. The owner reply says call the toll free line. That's the number I already called. The agent couldn't reach this store and said my only option was the online form, which I filed. Refusing an in policy return, with a receipt, because the store doesn't carry the item is not a policy.

After asking few people finally found someone who said they were not trained to operate the cut and there is no one certified to operate that machine in the store at that time. I went to complain and magically found someone who could operate the machine. But then they spent 20 mins trying to figure out how to use the machine until they gave up. So we wasted about 45 mins and walked out empty handed! At least provide your employees with proper training!!!

- AJAndy JungJun 7, 20261.0As a GC, my main building supply store was Rona when it was down the street on Comstock Rd., as they were Canadian and they had expertise. During all the Lowe's/ Rona fiasco, I ended up using Home Depot as my main supplier, as pricing and supply were better at HD. I thought that I would give them a chance again... but to my surprise, Rona seems to be having an identity crisis. Car parts taking up 3 bays?!?! Tilly clothing? I was looking for cedar boards. I found them in a locked up area in the furthest corner away from all of the other lumber. Total waste of time. It was faster for me to drove to HD than deal with this silliness. And that is just what I did... and will do from now on. So sad that a Canadian institution is going down the drain.

Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your official sales receipt will be given to you when you complete the transaction at the store where you pick up your items. When will my online payment be processed?

How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
