My mom and I went into the garden centre yesterday when there was a young brunette with glasses working. I think she was in there by herself. But she was so helpful and knowledgeable about a lot of the products we were asking her about, she has great costumer service skills and was just very kind all around. It was my first time in the garden centre at Rona in simcoe and I’d DEFINITELY go again!

I’ve been working in construction for 10 years, and for 10 years I’ve been buying materials from different building supply stores. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at RONA.
I purchased materials that were apparently not even available in their warehouse, and afterward I had a very difficult time trying to get my money refunded. Instead of helping resolve the issue professionally, the manager named Earl was extremely rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Rather than trying to fix the problem, he started blaming me for the situation.
Mistakes with inventory can happen — but customer service and accountability are what separate a good store from a bad one. This experience was frustrating, disrespectful, and a complete waste of time. I would seriously reconsider buying from this location again.

I did a review about 3 years ago it was good... Now not so good. 1) Went to get a wheelbarrow they had on sale... Hmmm couldn't find it. They had to order it in. Took a week.
2) Hired a contractor to put a lattice on top of my deck. Went to Rona to get lattice. None in the yard, so ordered it to come in Thursday, today goes up pays for it goes in the yard to get it, nope not there. Wrong kind brought in. At the rate this is going I will be lucky if it is done before the holiday weekend. I wanted it done before then. Not the contractor fault... He can only do what he can. I really hope Rona gets their stuff together or they are going to end up closing.
