    We purchased a couch from Praveen and Jonathan at the Scarborough storeand they were so helpful and did a great job. We knew what we wanted and they answered all of our questions. The delivery guys Mandeep and Puneet were careful, quick and so polite. Great job team. So grateful. ☺️

    I visited The Brick at Warden and Eglinton because I was interested in buying a TV for around $3,000. Instead of answering my questions and providing information, the Indian Lady employee kept repeating, "Are you gonna buy it?" at least 10 times. It was frustrating and made me feel like she wasn't interested in helping me. I got so annoyed that I walked out, went home, and ordered the TV from Amazon for a better price. Because of one lousy employee and poor customer service, The Brick lost a $3,000 sale. Customer service matters.

    After sales information is not great. You have to follow up for payment and delivery. I also told they would take away mattress but when I called to ask about a bag, I was told it doesn’t matter because its not on the order and its too late anyways. The delivery tracker and the folks delivering were good.

    Delivery was fast and efficient. Old washer taken out and new one hooked up in about 25 minutes. Delivery men were lovely to deal with as was the salesman (Saleem) at the Scarborough store. On line delivery tracking was excellent. Will definitely be buying from the Brick for more appliances. All in all, very well done.

    I purchased a mattress online 6am in the morning , plus paid delivery charge , it took 12hrs for The Brick to confirm my debit payment in full . My bank did it in seconds and said “ oh yes look , here’s the withdrawal right here “ , the teller showed me the screen. I showed him their e-mail about having to confirm the payment , this was at 12pm. I had to take of my time further, and at my expense to confirm they had actually received payment in full , at the store , where , they assured me , not to worry , even though it was a mystery surrounding the delays , that they had the mattress i ordered and not to worry . The language they use when you order online is that some sort of a confirmation has to be made by them , even though like in my case , they received the money right then and there at the very time i ordered it . I was quite comfortable ordering from The Brick online at that time , not anymore , and is doubtful i would even go to the store to conduct a purchase . Thoroughly and utterly disappointing . I’m very upset , and have every right to be . The mattress i ordered online is 13.5 inches thick, they sent a 12 inch thick as i had a measuring tape on me , as did the delivery driver , i would not accept the delivery . The store customer service , i was promised a called back in hours ,they didn’t . Now it might seem that 1 1/2 inch difference should be of no consequence to anyone, not even me , but , it does . I spent time searching for what i knew i required . Every step of The Bricks online experience as a first time customer has been awful . Luckily i kept my old mattress . This was a test , to see first , online , how they would do . I spent my time confirming my payment with my bank and then with them in person and on the phone , i spent time , the morning of delivery moving furniture , only to have the wrong thing delivered . Now , the issue is very simple , do you , The Brick , have what i ordered online ? Yes ? or no ? If you do deliver it without delay or , refund my money without delay , and in full . A company that sand bags people, in order to delay doing the right thing , does not give me confidence in them. People aren’t stupid . Sand bagging , as thee go to strategy , is bordering on being dishonest , there is little difference. I thought if , it was a good experience online , i would go shop there again in person when i have the time. Now , i have nearly $1,000.00 tied up including delivery & taxes, plus a trip in person , and time on the phone, and time at the bank , time reorganizing my home , time with the delivery driver , with a company where the right hand doesn’t seem to know what the left hand is doing . What would you think if you were me ? They didn’t seem to know right from the get go. I’ve since re checked the website , the very mattress i ordered, and did not ( to date ) receive , is still advertised . Same dimensions quality and specs and price . From the get go , every step of my attempt to purchase one single item , in hopes of even more purchases in the future had this test run gone right , has been a real eye opener and given pause to what i previously believed about this company . My observation , and thought’s were , before doing business with them was , this company is one of a reputable Canadian company with its act together. They advertise they give the distinct impression that they are on the ball. Boy was i wrong ! Would you be happy if you were me ? As the saying goes , “ you never get a second chance to make a first impression “ .
