  ⭐ **Very Disappointing Customer Service – RONA Pickering** I am extremely disappointed with the customer service we received at the RONA Pickering location, particularly from the manager, Russell. We had originally purchased 15 boxes of flooring, only to discover that 6 of the boxes were defective. Naturally, we wanted to exchange the defective boxes for ones that were in good condition. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate our original receipt, and rather than trying to assist us or explore possible solutions, Russell was rude, dismissive, and seemed very hesitant to help us. What made the situation even more frustrating was that Russell repeatedly insisted that we needed to return to the original location where the flooring was purchased. We explained that the original store was approximately 2–3 hours away making it extremely inconvenient to travel that distance simply to exchange defective merchandise. Despite explaining our circumstances, he continued reiterating the same thing rather than showing any understanding or willingness to find an alternative solution. As customers who had spent a significant amount of money on flooring, we expected more professionalism, understanding, and effort to resolve the situation. We were not asking for anything unreasonable, simply an exchange for products that were defective. What made this experience even more disappointing was the complete difference in customer service between the Pickering and Scarborough locations. After our frustrating experience with Pickering, we decided to contact the RONA location on Midland Avenue in Scarborough.The difference was night and day! Jason, the manager at that location, was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, understanding, and made the exchange process effortless. Not only did he help us exchange the defective flooring, but he also went above and beyond by personally opening and inspecting every replacement box to ensure there were no defects before we left. If another RONA location could resolve the exact same issue so effortlessly, why was it made so difficult at the Pickering location? The difference came down to customer service and management. While Russell made us feel like we were inconveniencing him, Jason made us feel valued as customers and genuinely cared about resolving our issue. As a manager, Russell should be setting an example of professionalism, patience, and problem-solving. Unfortunately, our experience reflected the complete opposite. We left the Pickering location feeling dismissed and frustrated, only to have the exact same situation handled with kindness and professionalism elsewhere. Needless to say, we will gladly drive the extra distance to the Midland location rather than return to RONA Pickering. Customer service makes all the difference, and this experience was a perfect example of that. A huge thank you to Jason at RONA Midland for showing us what exceptional customer service looks like. The Pickering location could certainly learn a thing or two from him.

  Rona is a good store the staff are nice and knowledgeable, would definitely return and the prices are good, i bought two toggle screws and it did the job done. Thanks rona

  Noel is AMAZING!! We have been assisted by him 2 times and we decided on Rona only because of Noel for all we need. We arw lifeline customers because of Noel at the Pickering location on Brock Rd. 10 Stars for Noel 5 is not enough! He deserves a raise and promotion! So knowledgeable and helpful

  Posted a clearance appliance—Samsung fridge, and when we arranged everything with a cook top and microwave, the clearance price posted was said a “mistake.” What an inconvenience! Rona is giving false hopes to customers of their “clearance price” and then when you’re hooked and planned out—measurements (we’re doing kitchen reno in our house), they will claim price was a mistake?! What a joke. Manager can’t do anything but to give 20% bec of the mistake. Not even a drop of apology for the inconvenience. What they should do is HONOR what they have posted! Rona clearance pricing is a scam!

  I've had nothing but great experiences at RONA+ Pickering. The staff is always professional, knowledgeable, and willing to help. A special thank you to Alex, Adrian, Aida, and Joel for consistently going above and beyond. Whether it's sourcing materials, answering technical questions, they're always reliable and provide outstanding customer service. As a contractor, having a team you can count on makes a big difference, and these four have been a huge help over the years. I highly recommend RONA+ Pickering to both contractors and homeowners looking for great service and knowledgeable staff.
