  We had a great experience at the Leon's Peterborough store. Having shopped at Leon's 35 years ago, I thought of it as the cheap furniture store that it used to be. I was very pleasantly surprised, they have really upped their game. My understanding ding that this location is a privately owned, franchise store. I don't know if this adds to the personal feeling that you get when shopping there. Our salesperson Amber was very pleasant, attentive but not pushy at all. We purchased beautiful, reasonably priced furniture for our new apartment. When we had a few changes to make, they were very accommodating. Ambers' sales associate stepped up to assist us one day when Amber was off and Trisha was equally as pleasant and helpful. We will be visiting Leon's Peterborough again if we have any further needs.

  I went to Leons this morning for a mattress. Kyle Bell helped me. He was very polite. I told him what I was looking for. Looked at a few. The one I found was on sale. Very comfy,excellent price. In Leon's you'll find kind helpful staff that are not pushy. We bought our recliners from there last year. If you want friendly knowledgeable people head to Leon's. Thank you Kyle Bell 😊

  I had an extremely disappointing experience with Leon’s Furniture in Peterborough and would strongly caution others before purchasing a mattress here. From the beginning, the service was frustrating. The first mattress I received was nothing like the one I tested in the store. The showroom mattresses are clearly worn and sagged from thousands of people laying on them, which gives customers a completely false impression of comfort and firmness. What arrived at my home felt totally different and uncomfortable. After raising concerns, the store initially issued me a $75 credit for the poor service — which seemed fair at the time. However, when I reselected a different mattress, the manager decided to take back that credit without reasonable explanation. On top of that, I was charged a $75 re-selection fee and another $69 delivery fee, even though the reselection was necessary because the original product did not match what was demonstrated in-store. To make matters worse, the replacement mattress arrived with a visible rip. After everything already experienced, this felt like the final straw. The delivery drivers were also rude and completely non-personable. There was no courtesy, no professionalism, and no effort to make an already stressful situation easier. The manager’s attitude throughout the process was especially disappointing — rude, snobby, and dismissive of legitimate concerns. Instead of working toward customer satisfaction, I felt blamed and brushed off at every step. Overall, this experience felt like a series of added costs, poor communication, and declining customer service. Between misleading showroom conditions, unexpected fees, damaged merchandise, and unprofessional interactions, I would not recommend Leon’s Furniture in Peterborough to anyone looking for a smooth or respectful buying experience. If I could rate 0 stars I would but its not an option.

  My husband and I went looking for a couch and mattress and Amber greeted us right away she gave us some advice and then let us look we really appreciated how she gave us time to look while being close by for the multiple questions we had and she was able to answer every single one. We found the perfect stuff! We will be needing more furniture for our new house in a few weeks and we are definitely going back to see Amber!
