  I've had nothing but a Wonderful amazing service from Peterboroug Leons. From Sales Amber to the 2 delivery gentlemen who managed to get my couch into my apartment 👍 scheduling was great as well. I highly recommend this store for all home items the pricing is great and affordable as well...I love my new couch 😻 so does my senior cat 😺 🐈 LOL 5 stars 🤩 Thanks again!

  The two young gentlemen who delivered our fridge and stove were absolutely phenomenal. They were so careful and respectful of our home/belongings. They were also very patient with my two curious kiddos and puppy. I'm so thankful for them making this an easy process!

  Initially I was going to give a 1 star review. We ordered a power reclining couch and waited nearly 3 weeks for it to come in. Delivery was arranged for the couch. On Tuesday Aug 4, when they initially tried to deliver the couch, the driver backed in and ripped my neighbour’s phone line down. After they called their warehouse manager, a decision was made not to drive over the “power line”, even though the helper picked up the line. I asked if it was possible to carry the couch from the driveway to the house., I was told that’s not possible as the couch weighed 500 pounds. They decided that they would attempt the delivery 4 days later on Saturday Aug 8 using a smaller truck. I was contacted by the store 1 day before the new delivery advising me that the warehouse would not be able to use a smaller truck and asked if we could take our delivery 4 days later on Tuesday Aug 11 and that the store would use a smaller truck. Tuesday August 11 came and I met the delivery men at end of driveway. They carried the couch all the way into my house and assembled it. The couch does NOT weigh 500 lbs as I was previously informed. John who drove the truck and assembled it was excellent and apologized as the battery cord did not come with the battery pack. He also apologized profusely for item not being delivered as originally arranged. Arrangements were made to obtain the battery pack cord at a later date. John’s action and demeanour/honesty quickly changed our 1 star review to a 5 star review. If we order anything from Leon’s to be delivered, we will arrange to have John deliver our stuff.

  Great store, most of the staff is awesome and quite knowledgeable. However as good as this review is, there is one negative side to it regarding one salesperson, Adam in appliances. Ethan in appliances was amazing. I had both a very positive experience shopping at Leon's Peterborough and a very poor experience. When picking out appliances for our new home, we saw Ethan who kindly spent some time with us to assess our needs and was able to point us in the right direction for each appliance we needed in the moment and in the near future. He was a fabulous person to help us, very attentive and knowledgeable. However when we went back to place another order we weren't expecting to make right away, he wasn't available and what we needed had to be ordered that day. Unfortunately we were met with someone (Adam) who wouldn't take the time to listen to us and to the fact that we already knew what we wanted, we just had a question before we added the new appliances to our bill and were going to add one final piece that same evening that we had already picked out. He wouldn't take the time to listen to what we wanted, I needed to show him on the computer what we decided on and told him the price to help narrow it down. In a hurried manner he said well, prices have changed since you were last here and proceeded to show us what he wanted to sell us and said this is what you want. No. It wasn't what we wanted. And no, prices hadn't changed since we were last in, 3 days prior, not that he knew when we were in. He had no clue what we wanted but insisted he did and when I got frustrated with him and his behaviour, I turned to leave, which is when he said if you walk now, you won't get the deal. I don't take kindly to a hard sell. I left and my husband stayed behind just because we needed these appliances and didn't want to miss the deal. Needless to say he only purchased those appliances and we happily waited until we could have Ethan finish making the rest of the order. We would highly recommend waiting to see Ethan if you can, Adam was not helpful at all, he was quite aggressive and wouldn't take the time to listen to what we, the customer wanted. As far as all the appliances go though, we love everything we purchased and will be going back to see Ethan again, with what looks like a final order.
