  Very disappointing experience with RONA Petawawa customer service. I contacted the store looking for help putting together a fairly substantial material order. Instead of helping with a basic takeoff, product quantities, or even working from the publicly available RONA product numbers and prices, I was repeatedly told that because the products were “online only,” there was essentially nothing they could do. I understand that a local store may not be able to process or discount an online-only SKU through its internal system. What I don’t understand is the unwillingness to provide basic customer service by looking at RONA’s own public website, helping determine quantities, or assisting a customer who is ready to spend several thousand dollars. I eventually had to research myself — which defeats the purpose of contacting a Pro/customer service desk in the first place. The experience came across as unnecessarily dismissive and, frankly, lazy. For a contractor trying to give RONA the business, this was a poor experience

  Exceptional service. Staff were friendly and efficient. Bought wipers for my car, the price was pretty good for the quality, they work great! Will 100% go again if I need something while I'm in the area.

  I've given this store many chances, hoping each time I'll have a better experience. Unfortunately, 95% of the time, staff has NO idea what they hold in stock, NO idea what to recommend, NO idea how to find something when they DO have it in stock. At least some of them are nice but.. this week was the last straw for me. The dark haired woman at customer service was extremely rude and seemed bothered by questions. I'm over it. Terrible store.

  If i could give 0 stars i would. Went three times out of connivence to this store (spending hundreds sadly) and was let down every time. terrible customer service, no help, bad attitude when returning a product (they gave us the wrong item in the shipping yard and brought back 30 min later where we were treated like we were doing something wrong). Online showing stock and in store had none, the man who is working the service desk should try a different position, he clearly does not want to work with customers. Honestly , everyone should save their sanity and just make the drive to pembroke. Better service, stock, products, availability and prices at home hardware or depot. Very disappointed and won’t be returning.
