The Electrical & Plumbing Store first opened in 1980 as a wholesale electrical operation that stocked chandeliers and table lamps. As the store expanded over the decade, it added plumbing fixtures and materials to its broad selection of lighting and electrical items. The Electrical & Plumbing Store opened its second location at 31 Northside Road in Bell's Corners in 1993 to better serve the rapidly growing west end of Ottawa. Both the lighting and plumbing showrooms have been substantially expanded, making it the largest lighting and plumbing showroom in Ottawa as well as a full-service parts counter to provide installation and repair services for both tradespeople and homeowners.
