We had an excellent experience at The Brick, thanks to Mark Redwood! He was professional, efficient and incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. He even took the time to reply to our questions after hours which really shoed his dedication to great customer service. Mark was also very accommodating when we changed our minds about what we wanted, the color of furniture and delivery time and place and made the entire process seamless. His knowledge and willingness to help made the shopping easy and stress-free. Highly recommend asking for Mark Redwood if you are shopping at The Brick. Thanks again for the outstanding service!

Wonderful ... from sale to delivery. So smooth, absolutely no issues. Mr. Corban was so very helpful, knowledgeable & patient as I browsed the sofa section. The cleaning care kit was a nice bonus as well. Movers were quick and no dings or damage getting it up 16 steps. Lynda Kerr

READ THIS FIRST BEFORE YOU ADD EXTENDED WARRANTY: DO NOT ADD IT. Full Circle Protection? More like Full Circle of 🐍. Full circle money-back guarantee that does not come back, it sends you in zigzags and traps you in a loop. Because when the time comes to use your store credit, good luck using it at The Brick store🤣😭 They upsell the extended warranty, and staff verbally make it sound like cash back for those who don’t pay attention during a purchase. But when the time comes, it’s store credit. Fine. But then even when I know it’s store credit, even when I follow the website policy, even when the purchase qualifies, they still tell me pay in full first and credit apply later. HOW? How is it Full Circle Money Back if, when you follow all the requirements to use the credit in-store, they tell you pay in full and credit apply later??? Where does it say that? Online, it says nowhere you must pay full and credit apply later. And what happens once credit applies? Refund? Another credit? Another loop? This question is put here because the management who was speaking with me couldn’t answer it. A family member bought an appliance a long time ago and added the extended warranty. They would not have got it if whoever at that time would’ve not told them guaranteed cash back. Fast-forward, warranty was unused, so they had the $460 credit to use before it expired. That’s when they learned it was not cash back, it was store credit. Fine. It’s store credit. We picked 2 Moon sofas. Furniture, valid item, total $2,276.40, way over the minimum $400 required purchase. So everything should have been simple. But at checkout, staff told me I had to pay full price first and the credit would be applied later😂 Like wait a min, you trying to make me pay full price first, but the website says the credit can be used toward the next eligible furniture purchase. Wym, it’s a credit. So I pay the credit and get credit back🤣? I asked for policy proof. If I pay full and the credit applies later, what happens after? Do I get refunded? Do I get another credit? Where does the $460 go? No one could clearly answer. One says yes, credit applies before tax. Another says no, after tax. Another says you actually have to pay in full and it will get applied later. Make it make sense. I refused to pay full without proof in writing. After like 30min-45min back and forth, manager agreed to accept the sale because I started complaining and laughing saying you’re losing $2k+ sales just for this nonsense. Even though I ended up getting the credit back, I’m putting my experience because you made it sound like management exception after headache, when instead I was entitled to credit as per Brick policy. I did my purchase and I love my sofa. The sofas are not the issue. The issue is they push you to buy extended warranty, each staff says different things, and management couldn’t show me where the “pay full first, credit later” rule is written. The real circle you will get into is a loop of nonsense when the time comes. That’s not Full Circle. That’s circle credit. Full Circle store credit, but is the credit really with the store? 🤣😭 The Brick Kanata, just shop furniture somewhere else or get furniture, forget extended warranty.

I prefer to shop with a retailer like The BRICK Kanata, where you can often find better prices, though the selection may be more limited than the manufacturer's. In my experience, dealing with the staff at The BRICK Kanata has always been exceptional, whether online, over the phone, or, better yet, in person. When we placed the order, we were told the estimated delivery date was four weeks away. There were delays from the manufacturer, DANBY. I requested that they take back the old mini fridge we had previously purchased from them for disposition. Mr. C. from The BRICK Kanata Customer Service replied that he had, on his own initiative, gone to the store manager, who made an allowance in our case. We are very grateful to both of them for their assistance on this matter. When the mini fridge arrived, we picked it up the same day. I want to thank the gentleman in The BRICK's Kanata Shipping and Receiving department who assisted us. He made our day. The DANBY fridge came with a 12-month warranty. This is where The BRICK steps up. The BRICK offers a five-year extended warranty, available within 30 days of purchase, at a very reasonable price—just another reason to buy through a retailer. Thank you, Ms. R., in Customer Service at The BRICK Kanata. We are very pleased with our Energy Star DANBY 18.5” 3.3 Cu. Ft. Single Door Outdoor Mini Fridge with a stainless-steel door front (Model DAR033A1BSLDOB). It is a great beverage fridge that meets all our needs. We can highly recommend this mini fridge. It was a pleasure dealing with both DANBY and The BRICK Kanata, two companies that collaborate for their customers. Everyone was very helpful and professional. Two great Canadian companies that have your back.

Magic Mike? More like…. MAGIC MARK!!! As a mom, I aim to expect the best for my family. Mark Redwood took my expectations and obliterated them. Smashed them to pieces. Incinerated them. Destroyed them so completely it was like they were never there to begin with. I will never again: A) shop anywhere else for furniture B) have anyone else assist me through said furniture shopping B) look at furniture shopping with the same blasée lens The expertise that mark brought to the table was extremely impressive. The effort that Mark went through from beginning to end was absolutely unmatched. His customer service so exemplary that he could run a clinic. My experience with Mark/the Brick completely changed my views of what all medium to large purchases should look like. If you are looking to save money, go chat with Mark. (My bank account is now safe from silly purchases elsewhere due to the sky high expectations that I now hold. ) If you are hiring customer service representatives, get yourself a Mark. If you are training new customer service representatives, beg on your knees for the wisdom of Mark. Maybe he will help, I don’t know. Ask nicely. If you are competition, fear Mark. Respect Mark. Study Mark. He is your final boss. Truly, I thank you Mark Redwood for my fantastic experience. I wish you the absolute best until I inevitably see you when I need more furniture.
