We purchased a mattress, a hood fan, and a stove range from The Brick. The sales experience was good, and we were told everything would be delivered within two weeks.
Unfortunately, that was where the positive experience ended. We didn't receive our stove for three months. Their after-sales customer service was incredibly disappointing. It was nearly impossible to get updates, and calls were never returned.
It feels like the focus is entirely on making the sale, but once they have your money, customer service becomes an afterthought. Delays can happen, but poor communication and a lack of follow-up are much harder to accept.
Based on our experience, I would think twice before making another major purchase from The Brick.

Outstanding service from start to finish! The brick delivery was right on time, and everything arrived exactly as expected. The customer service over the phone was just as impressive —friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. They answered all my questions, made the whole process easy, and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Excellent experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them! The last team of delivery I received was a Joy so pleasant I know that job isnt easy I apreciate all their hard work!

I had the worst experience at this store. I bought my 2000$ mattress and it supposed to be deliver last Sunday between 2pm-5pm and I was waiting all day at home then around 11pm Sunday night when I am already sleeping. The delivery guy called and said we are delivering your mattress then I said at this time so instead apologizing, he said are you going to pick it up or not then I said no at time. Then next day on Monday I called the store and I wanted to speak to a manager who can help with the situation, and I have told the manager will call you. No one called me or try to apologize. So today I went into the store and canceled the transaction and also the selles man misspelled my name which I later realized on the receipt. The people that are working at this locationI are very bad and the east brick is going to be ruin by these people just like Time Hortons. In 2015 I bought all my furniture at this store and back then it was great, but unfortunately not anymore. Today I bought my new mattress from Sleep country and they were very welcoming and appreciated my business.

Incredible Salesperson Overshadowed by Hostile Customer Service
I want to start by giving immense credit to the sales representative who helped us on June 25th around 8:00 PM. He was an older gentleman who spent nearly three hours patiently working with us. Even though he was clearly tired and on his feet for hours, he never rushed us and provided exemplary, kind service. He deserves 5 stars.
Unfortunately, the entire experience was ruined when we went to the desk to pay using warranty credit we paid for 5 years ago. We were confused as to why the taxes from our original purchases ($799.99 and $279.99) weren't credited back. Even our salesperson was confused. While I was frustrated by this policy, I was respectful and simply voiced that this should be made clearer to customers at the time of purchase. I never asked anyone to break policy.
The customer service representative, Savanah, took this completely personally and became incredibly hostile. First, she was openly impatient and disrespectful to our elderly salesperson while he was trying to calculate prices on his iPad. Then, instead of professionally explaining the store policy to us, she literally sat in her chair stating “I wish not to help you," completely refusing service after less than five minutes of interaction. It was so bad that our poor salesperson was quietly apologizing for her behavior under his breath.
It is shameful that such a hard-working sales team has their efforts completely tanked by rude, impatient frontline staff at the desk. I hope management addresses Savanah's toxic attitude toward both paying customers and her own colleagues.

We are very pleased with our Samsung refrigerator. The sales person was very helpful and took extra measures to ensure that we could get the refrigerator on time (our old one had stopped functioning). We are disappointed that Embrun, Ontario (a suburb of Ottawa) is not included in the Brick's provision for home delivery and pick-up of the old appliance. Accordingly, we had to pay extra. The delivery of the appliance was professionally done by two very kind persons. The water hock-up to the new refrigerator was shoddily done by the contractor used by The Brick. The Brick should become more flexible in serving its customers (include all Ottawa suburbs in its free home delivery and appliance return) and have qualified service technicians.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.

An extended warranty can be added during the purchase process in store or online.
