My wife & I went to Rona plus on west Hunt club yesterday to buy vinyl fence. We saw the display but we couldn't find the product. We asked for help to the employee who happened to be around . He's name was Richmond. He wasn't sure where the product was because it was not his department but he determined to help . Patiently searching ....finally found what we were looking for. I gave him 5 star for friendly service as well as professionalism.

I was looking for a receipt for a lawn mower we'd purchased in May of 2023 and didn't think it'd be possible for it to be retrieved but went to RONA on Merivale Rd. to inquire.
After much determination Dhvani (Head Cashier) at the Customer Serve desk was able to retrieve my full receipt!!! I can't thank her enough for the diligence involved and the friendly manner in which she assisted me. Well done RONA! You have great employees!

Went to buy a shed the other day and set it for pick up the next day. Next day my husband went in to collect it and it took forever because the 4 staff members standing around in the garden centre were too lazy to get a lumber cart for him. So off he went to get it. Then the staff member told him he needed a piece of paper from customer service. Off he went for that and then was told it was the wrong piece of paper. Then as they were taking the shed out to the truck that was parked in a spot that was directly across from the garden centre gate, the staffer told him he would not take it across to the truck. By then my husband was totally pissed off and grabbed the cart and we loaded the over 300 pound shed ourselves. Where has customer service gone these days? We will not return to this store. Luckily the shed was intact and was fairly easy to set up.

As a garden designer I bought tons of plants, fertilizer, etc. during the last 15 years. Or I recommended certain plants and bushes to my customers. BUT NOT ANYMORE. I stopped entering this store.
Their selection is not great, but worse their customer service or lack thereof is !!! Just one example of many:
Recently I came in, asking for single Begonias, that are not added in huge baskets. I found two employees in the garden center who both didn't know what annual plants are these. I had to show them the type in the baskets.
One of them, a very tall young I spoke with interrupted me mid-sentence to greed another person who he knew from sports.
I waited five minutes while they were chatting and he ignoring me totally.
Is this the way, RONA wants his customers treated ???
I complained at a manager, but his answer was that they are just started to train their staff. What ??? In May when the season already started?
In a professional environment you start to train your staff BEFORE you let them loose into the store aisles !!!
In the first place: why hire youngsters for the plant sales, that have no clue about plants, not even about the annuals ???
Is it so difficult to train them, test their knowledge, and oversee how they advise customers ???
Don't you have any regard to customer service and communication, and to a basic knowledge of your staff.
An absolutely unprofessional business, which I will avoid in the future and tell friends and customers what they can expect whn going there...
A good example on how to get rid of customers !!!

To rent a vehicle, you must:

NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
