I was in the area and needed to use a washroom, so I thought I would stop at RONA, purchase a few things, use the washroom, and leave. When I entered the store, there was an employee sitting at the Customer Service desk. I politely asked where I could find the washroom. Instead of simply directing me, he asked me, “Are you buying something? You can only use the washroom if you buy something.” I was very disappointed by the way this was communicated. The attitude came across as extremely rude and arrogant. I then mentioned that I am also a Customer Service Manager at another RONA store, thinking that perhaps he would understand the situation from a professional perspective. His response was simply, “So what?” As someone who works in customer service within RONA, I found this interaction particularly disappointing. Regardless of the store’s washroom policy, customers should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. There was no reason to speak to someone in such a dismissive and disrespectful manner. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reminds the team that the way we communicate with customers matters just as much as the policies we follow.

How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?
When you order online, choose the option “Pick-up in store“ at checkout. You will receive an email confirming that your order is ready. Use the Pick-Up Scheduler to select the time slot that suits you. Park in one of the designated Curbside Pick-up spots, call the store, and an associate will bring your order to your vehicle. Do you deliver and from what amount of purchase?
Yes, we offer a delivery service. All products can be shipped by parcel their delivery is free with any $49 and more purchase. We also offer truck delivery for items that are not eligible for parcel delivery, such as appliances and patio sets. This service is available in most of our stores at the cost of $79. When will my online payment be processed?
Upon confirmation of your order, we will validate the credit card you used. The payment will automatically be charged to your card when the transaction is completed online.
How much time will it take to process my order?
Most of the products you can purchase online are available within 2 hours of placing your order. You can check the final processing time for your order at the top of your shopping cart page. If one of the items on the order is available within 7 to 10 days, it will take us 7 to 10 days to get it ready for pick-up or delivery.

When you receive an email from us telling you that your order is ready for pick-up, simply go to your selected store and locate the pick-up zone poster. You must bring your identification.
