I had a very disappointing experience at The Brick Heartland. Last week, Manager Ilona approved a price of $449 plus tax for an appliance, and the salesperson (Manny) confirmed everything. I returned today to pick it up, only to be met by Manager Asad Shah, who refused to honour the agreement and accused both the salesperson and me of lying.
This level of disrespect and inconsistency is unacceptable. Customers should not be treated this way, especially when returning to complete a purchase already agreed upon.

DO NOT SHOP HERE Purchased a couch and dinning set from here 3 weeks ago and thought everything was amazing… turns out it was too good to be true. One day before the CONFIRMED scheduled delivery date, we called to confirm what time the couch and dining set would be delivered tomorrow. Instead of confirming the delivery time, they tell us they have sold out of half of the pieces of our couch THAT WAS ALREADY PAID FOR and the pieces will not be back in stock until end of August (it is currently July 3rd). Not only that, but that pieces that are in stock can’t be delivered for another 5 days. They could not even bother to call and let us know. If we had not called ourselves, we would have been waiting around all day tomorrow for a delivery that was not going to happen. We have already disassembled and removed our previous couch with the impression that we were receiving the new one tomorrow as scheduled at the time of purchase. When speaking to their “customer service” instead of apologizing and trying to rectify the situation, we were told “well you should have had it delivered sooner” WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU OFFER SCHEDULED DELIVERY DATES IF YOU ARE GOING TO SELL AN ITEM AFTER IT IS PAID FOR?? Literally how does that make any sense?? Then the absolute USELESS sales associate that sold us the couch and dining set offered to compensate $100 for the inconvenience. Our purchases totalled close to $6500… what the hell is $100 going to do for us?? And they couldn’t even be bothered to offer an apology. If they even respond to this review I’m sure it will be something along the lines of “please contact this support email for further assistance”… why would anyone do that when your support team is absolutely useless and their only resolution is that we should have picked a sooner delivery date. How about not lying to your customers that their purchased product will be held until the desired delivery date. They also offer an incentive to leave 5 star reviews for a chance to win the cost of your purchase back… I’m sure now this is just a muse to drown out any negative reviews. Save your time and your money and shop literally anywhere else. The Brick used to be a reputable and reliable furniture store, and is now run by a bunch of scammers.

Stay away from this store: shady sales practices
Our sales rep SOHAIB became absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful when we tried to contact him for a return. During the purchase when we wanted to shop around at other stores before making a decision he was so polite and convinced us that we had 90 days to return any item we didn’t like. But as soon as we received the item and tried to do a same day return he refused, became unprofessional and aggressive and said “DID I FORCE YOU TO BUY THE MATTRESS!?” Absolutely disgusting customer service never have I dealt with someone so unprofessional. I tried to escalate to the manager and he said “he’s our oldest sales associate no way he would say you could return something, but yea sorry nothing I can do”
The comedy is in the fact that their own website states that you can return for 7 days as long as the item is in its original packaging and not on clearance or a special order item (so ours does qualify for a return as per their own policy)

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.
