  Horrible experience, yesterday I was waiting 40min someone to come and eventually we run out of time becose they close the store, today also waiting 40 min someone to get over there, 3 time they call employees from the store and finaly we order what we want and we get home to figure out that they give us the wrong set. Now I need to go tomorrow again to exchange the setup. Never again!!!

  The store has just closed, and I still haven't found the replacements for my loose thread screws to hold my new license plates in place. Navin, the department head/manager, did not hesitate to help me locate the right ones even if the store had already closed. He led me to the aisle (where screws, nuts, and bolts were), quickly determined the size of the old, damaged screws I had, and immediately handed me the replacements I needed. I was impressed by the exemplary customer service he displayed. If it were some other personnel, I might have been told to return the next day, as they're already closed (and screws are cheap items) - but not Navin! RONA and its customers are very fortunate to have a manager with such a service-oriented mindset and a good heart.

  Support Canadian shop, Rona staff is always enthusiastic to help, much more experience to provide suggestion... They are much better!

  Good selection of home improvement supplies amongst other things. Service could be improved by being more attentive / proactive in approaching and serving customers. On a more positive note, found the information on the Rona website extremely helpful in locating exactly what I was looking for right down to the aisle and section numbers.

  Shoppers - be careful to buy from this store. Lady Manager duty on Saturday today very rude, unprofessional behaviour and blamed that if I have cut the small 2 inch of wooden piece if I have cut from 6 ft wooden stick worth 3 dollar and very insulting question asked and refused bunch of other stuffs to take return. It was very insulting question and made me embarrassed where I buy all the time construction materials for years as contractor worth of hundreds thousands dollars of home reno products . They simply don’t appreciate business and give very hard time as soon as you go for any small return of even 3 to 4 dollar stuffs . I simply asked additional question why you give hard time if receipt is misplaced . Responded rudely, next time make sure you have receipt. I asked, why don’t you give electronic receipt to avoid any issues like home deposit and other stores offers, she said speak to head office . Bottom line, no respect no appreciation of big business and even for 4 dollars stuffs they insult you and refuse to take return make you feel embarrassing… very unusual customer service and even as a manager she says she is the only manager here .. very surprising that they have unprofessional and untrained staffs who does not know how to treat customers and contractors respectfully .. Today, most worst experience and the same was in past. I would definitely warn shoppers to go and give business to this store . Home Depot is far better electronic receipt and no issues. If you loose receipts be prepared to face these kind of untrained and disrespectful staffs and manager to deal with that they completely ruined my Sunday. No point to give business to these people with disrespectful treatment .
