    Excellent experience this past week with the team at JYSK (Heartland Location). The sales representative Dashveen was extremely helpful and kind. She went out of her way to ensure our item was in stock, collected and we had the means to transport it. She was also very kind and respectful to her fellow employees which was very nice to see. Nishil and Lisa in the warehouse were extremely kind and proficient when helping us load our item. Overall, excellent experience from start to finish!

    I have always purchased furniture for my home from the JYSK Hamilton location, and until now, I never had any reason to complain about their products or customer service. Recently, I relocated from Hamilton to Mississauga and ordered a mattress and bed frame to be delivered to my new apartment. After delivery, I was advised to allow the mattress to fully inflate for 24 hours before use. Unfortunately, even after a week, the mattress remained deformed. I visited the Mississauga location to report the issue, and after contacting the Hamilton branch, they agreed to replace the mattress, which was delivered the following weekend. During the week, while trying to assemble the bed frame, I discovered that one of the bed supports would not screw in properly because the part appeared defective. I returned to the Mississauga location seeking assistance and encountered Nishi, the Operations Manager. My experience with him was extremely disappointing and upsetting. Instead of trying to help resolve the issue, he accused me of lying about the defect. When I told him he was being rude, he openly responded that he “didn’t care.” I also mentioned that I would never recommend the store to anyone after this experience, and he replied that he didn’t care whether I referred customers or not. What shocked me the most was when he said that since I had “been sleeping on my couch all this while,” I could “keep sleeping there.” When I told him again that he was being rude and disrespectful, he admitted it and said he would continue speaking that way. I have never experienced such poor and unprofessional customer service anywhere before. No customer should be spoken to in such a disrespectful and dismissive manner, especially when they are simply trying to resolve a product issue. In my opinion, individuals with this attitude should not be in customer-facing management positions. I am now left dealing with a defective bed, and even my friends questioned why I chose to purchase from JYSK when there are other reputable furniture brands known for valuing their customers and going the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. Very disappointing experience overall.

    My spouse an I were shopping some furniture and accessories today, and run in a problem. The Ops Manager, I did not catch his name, and Linda sales associate helped us in a way that we felt like some very special people. Praise to the Op manager, he gave his best, went above and beyond and made our shopping a magic event.

    I recently purchased a product that I believe had a manufacturing issue, which I brought to the attention of Linda and Maggie. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt this experience truly deserved one. The customer service at this location is exceptional, something that’s becoming increasingly rare. I was able to easily replace my product, and two additional staff members were incredibly helpful during the exchange. Not only was this experience great, but my past interactions with staff have been wonderful as well. Every interaction I’ve had here has been positive, and it’s exactly why I continue to shop at this store. Thank you for consistently providing such outstanding service.
