    if you are considering getting lumber delivered I would avoid it. The material itself seems to be fine (I have yet to confirm if it is all there, I don't have faith it is). The problem is with the delivery coordination. I coordinated with a Rona employee that delivery would occur Monday and was told they typically deliver roadside but I just needed to let the delivery company know when they got there of they could place it next to my backyard instead. I explicitly told them it needed to be Monday as the other available date I would not be around. by Monday 3pm no call or delivery had been received, called Rona and was told that they made a mistake and no delivery had been actually scheduled. Now had to arrange for a delivery on the day I would not be around. Rona employee was made aware I would not be able to pick up the phone if the delivery driver needed to call (was originally told that if they call and no one answers the delivery would be cancelled) so the Rona staff member added a note to the file. Delivery driver called anyways and I just managed to pick up, only to be told that they see a note to place the delivery in an alternative location but that they don't actually do that (so he read the note and either chose to ignore the no call or it wasn't there). Short of it is that lumber delivery seems to be completely uncoordinated and unaccomidating, they just do what they want and you better hope you can make it work.

    I went to pick up storage tubs. They are at a good price now and they have lots in stock. I will be back soon in the garden center. Thanks Rona

    A consistently incompetent staff. On my last visit I came in with measurements for my doorknob and was told by two staff that all doorknobs are the same and don’t worry about measurements. Had to come back when it didn’t fit (that’s fine). When I asked the lady at customer service if I could speak to someone who knew about doorknobs she was so grumpy and barked that no one knows about the products because it’s just a retail store. The employees at this store are unhelpful and do not know anything about their products. I feel like I am intruding on their time when I come to this store.
