Waited at least a good solid 5 -7 minutes waiting to be tended to while she was on the phone dealing with something else. Fine. I understand that. In the meantime, two other associates were standing behind the desk, no greeting, nothing like we'll be right with you sir...nothing. Finally, she approaches me at the counter... All I get is 'cashing out or return?'... and I'm thinking to myself, ya, and hello to you too. 'Your receipt' is what she asks... I responded. Yes I do have it. Then when the return transaction was completed, I asked her if I could keep my cart because I had other shopping I wanted to do. .. she said go get one at the entrance....and I told her the sirens will go off at the gate as there is no exit to get to the carts, and she says oh someone should help you... Well I know someone 'should' help me but no one is there to help me. Had to scavenger hunt for a cart inside the store. Made my way to the self-checkout when I finally found a very delightful Rona associate who was pleasant, hejpful and kind before leaving the store.
- DBD BochJun 23, 20262.0Inventory 190 pieces of 1x2x8 pt wood. Go to Rona 28 pieces in inventory. If you want a comedy show come here. I asked an associate if there was anymore inventory. They did not know so they turned to another associate in the lumber department and asked if there is anymore 1x2x8 pt anywhere else. The team member was very dismissive and said "what's there is there." Please, please please Rona do not waiste our (the customers) time with your inventory issues. Plus customer service training. It was not a positive experience.
- CDCraig DanielsJun 5, 20261.0Save yourself a headache and don't buy anything from Rona online. As others before me have written, they're a joke. I ordered a car shelter. They sent the wrong item, and what they sent was damaged. I called Rona customer service, of course, but it turns out that when you buy something from Rona online, it doesn't actually come from Rona. It comes from the distributor of the manufacturer and Rona merely acts as a clearing house -- the purchasing portal, if you will -- a service which they take a cut for. So when a complaint happens, Rona has to contact the distributor. And how long will an answer take? I ask. Rona: "We don't know. Be patient." Terrific. So their distributor makes a mistake, and rather than fix it, Rona turns their customer into a prisoner of their distributor.

When you order online, choose the option “Pick-up in store“ at checkout. You will receive an email confirming that your order is ready. What are the terms and conditions of making payments online?
You can use a Mastercard, Visa or Rona credit card to pay for your purchases online — by entering the cardholder name and address on the account statement when you make your purchase. Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your official sales receipt will be given to you when you complete the transaction at the store where you pick up your items. When will my online payment be processed?
Upon confirmation of your order, we will validate the credit card you used. The payment will automatically be charged to your card when the transaction is completed online.
How much time will it take to process my order?

How do I know that truck/van is available for rental at RONA+ location?
If you see a truck or van parked at the store, that’s the first sign that it’s available for rent. To save yourself a trip, you can call the RONA store’s customer service desk ahead of time to confirm availability. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
