Not happy about buying a patio set there and it started deteriorating as soon as we put it outside. It was leaking rust and the twine unraveled on the leg of one chair and the table. We got a store credit which I think is ridiculous. We decided to get a limo with the money and a filing cabinet. Hopefully no issues with these items, but full money back should have been given. Won't be shopping there anymore now that the store credit has been used.

The delivery men were amazing and courteous and helpful and efficient and professional. Unfortunately, the motor on my sliding sofa was broken so I am now waiting for a replacement motor. However, I was very impressed with the delivery.

I have never been more disappointed by a company's customer service and complete lack of compassion. I attempted to return an unused item after the return window had expired due to being hospitalized and dealing with a serious medical condition.Rather than showing any understanding or making even the slightest effort to accommodate exceptional circumstances, store management hid behind policy and refused to help.
Policies are meant to guide customer service, not replace basic human decency. A company that generates millions in revenue should be able to excercise discretion when a customer experiences a medical emergency.Instead, I was treated as though my hospitalization was irrelevant and my circumstances didn't matter.
What made the experience even worse was the dismissive attitude I encountered. There was no attempt to find a solution, offer store credit, or demonstrate any empathy whatsoever. The message was clear: once they have your money, your situation is no longer their concern.
Customer service is about more than enforcing rules. It's about treating people fairly. This store failed that test completely. I understand policies exist, but when a company refuses to show compassion during a documented medical emergency, it reveals exactly how little it values its customers.
I will be taking my business elsewhere (anywhere else), and strongly encourage others to consider how they might be treated by this company if they ever find themselves facing unexpected life circumstances.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.

An extended warranty can be added during the purchase process in store or online. You can either select 'Protect All Products' at the top of the warranty section, or specify which level of coverage you want for each individual product. Our Premium Delivery Service is available in most areas. For areas not served by The Brick's delivery team, we contract third-party courier and shipping companies.
