    Rented a carpet cleaner from RONA and returned it on time and cleaned. There was only some minor dust underneath from transport/use. Staff member Preet refused the return and told us to clean it again outside before she would accept it. What made the experience worse was that another employee checked the machine, said it looked clean, and even started helping us. Preet then told him, “It’s not your job, why are you helping? Let them do it.” He looked surprised and seemed ready to call a manager or supervisor because he also felt the machine was already clean. Very disappointing and unnecessarily difficult customer experience, especially compared to our past rentals with Canadian Tire where we never had issues returning cleaned equipment.

    Hello Warren10, I would like to sincerely thank Warren10 for the time and effort he spent helping me choose the right BBQ machine. His honest opinions, detailed explanations, and knowledge about the different models available in the store were extremely helpful.     Worst customer service i have ever had. I was looking to buy some ceiling tiles and one was on sale in the store advertisedon display. So I found the box and took it up front. 1) Cashier said she couldn't find the sale so I went and took a picture of the sale. She said she still couldn't cash it as it must be a different box 2) so I went and found a floor employee, he said it was a different box. I pointed out the name and price (pre sale was the same). He called for some one else to help. 3) new employee said the sale poster was too far away so he couldn't scan it. So I climbed up on the display and pulled it down. He said they would then honor it. 4) cashier said first it was a different barcode. I showed that it wasn't. Then she said that the sale had ended 4 days ago. At that point I walked out. I would love to buy canadian but not if they are going to fight their own sales. Never going there again
