- KKKathy3 days ago1.0It all started with 32 pieces of vinyl panels in inventory that no one could find. Was told 10 day delivery for them to place special order. No problem. But five weeks later nothing. Employees are too busy passing the buck everytime I called or went to store to inquire if I was even going to see my order. Tonight I finally told employees I wasn't leaving until they took a skid down from top rafters cause something told me it was there & voila there's the product from original inventory. Obviously when you told me you couldn't find it you didn't look very hard! This store is nothing but a joke!! Also buying over $250 in unrelated product tonight & cashier over charges $60+ then didnt want to give us cash back. Excuse me?? One hour & 45 minutes of nonsense in this store tonight was unnecessary. A severe regroup & some new training needs to be set in place. As much as I would like to name names that are useless to this store, I won't because you know who you are, but thanks for not helping me out the past 5 weeks! Thanks for Kevin this evening, he did everything right to make it right. Will I ever return, never ever!! To head office: this is your chance to step up to the plate with an apology & tell me you'll make your store better for customer relations.

Even tho they didn’t have the same model stock or a gas powered one that was similar, he went above and beyond to help me. I ended up getting a battery operated one that I was more than satisfied with.

I prefer to wander aimlessly and only ask for help if, through a look of confusion on my face, I hope someone stops me and asks if they can help. On this particular visit, Rebekkah from Home Improvement found me! I was suspicious at first when she said "Follow Me," but I promise you, I do not regret following her. She was kind and pleasant, and she even helped me save a little bit of money. I would give her 8/5 stars. Thanks for having very personable and knowledgeable staff to help those of us who believe that they can build anything build it!

The biggest issue is the customer service. It's not that there aren't enough staff members—there are employees around, but it was extremely difficult to get any meaningful assistance. When I did manage to find someone, they were not helpful. On top of that, the store had very limited stock of the items I needed. disappointing, and ended up leaving empty-handed on both visits.

If I am looking for something automotive I'll go to Canadian Tire! It's a home improvement store not an automotive store! 🤷 Walked out very disappointed. I will be going to home Depot from now on! They have a better selection! I am not a fan of the new layout. they could moved the ceiling fan somewhere else in the store but they got rid of them completely only had like 5 boxes to look at it was very lazy. automotive! in a hardware store is very stupid we got a store for that its called "Canadian Tire"!

Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?

How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
