The biggest problem wasn't even the part—it was the staff. They didn't listen to a single thing I was saying. Instead of trying to understand the situation or double-check the information, they immediately dismissed my questions and acted like they knew better. I was specifically told that a Canadian-spec strut would not fit my U.S.-spec car. That advice turned out to be completely wrong. Before spending my money, I checked with my mechanic, who confirmed that the part would fit. I also researched it online, and everything I found said the same thing. Since I didn't trust what I was being told in the store, I ordered the exact same strut through AutoShack's online pickup anyway. Guess what? It fit perfectly and has been been working great ever since. The staff were completely wrong. What frustrates me the most is that they never seemed interested in listening or verifying anything. They simply made assumptions and spoke with confidence without actually knowing the answer. If I had listened to them, I would have wasted time and delayed fixing my car for absolutely no reason. Good customer service starts with listening to customers and making sure the information you're giving is accurate. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here. The only reason I ended up with the right part was because I ignored the staff's advice and trusted my mechanic and my own research instead. I won't be returning, and I definitely can't recommend AutoShack based on my experience.

The store was packed with people, and the customers before me were even haggling her for I think a $2 refund on something they bought earlier. I could tell it was stressing her out. And yet? When it was my turn in line? She took the time to put a smile on my face. And that, RONA? That's the only reason I'll come back to your store, again, and again, and again. Because of Alona ...and the other employee that helped me find my black markers! Keep up the excellent work!

Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your official sales receipt will be given to you when you complete the transaction at the store where you pick up your items. When will my online payment be processed?

If you see a truck or van parked at the store, that’s the first sign that it’s available for rent. To save yourself a trip, you can call the RONA store’s customer service desk ahead of time to confirm availability. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
