  Not sure why Rona has a paint department... there's never anyone that works at it. Just go to Home Depot and save yourself the time and frustration

  I Was told I had a one year return for trees upon purchase. I Went to return 4 trees that died over the summer. When I got there, I was told to hold onto the dead trees for 6+ months and wait to exchange them on the spring. After some back and forth, they only offered on store credit and wouldn’t honour a return. I went to use my forced store credit on one tool I kind of want (a dewalt hedge trimmer), and of course, they don’t carry that item either in their massive dewalt section. An absolute joke of a store. I can’t even find something I sort of need to waste forced store credit on. I will be actively avoiding Rona even more than I already do.

  I needed one thing. I had the isle and section from the website. When I get to the area there is a card saying that I need to find an associate to get the item (it's ~$80 and small so I assume this is because of theft). The first Rona employee I ask says "I can't do that". I ask them what they mean and they then tell me that they're not an associate. It's like getting blood from a stone, no useful information is given freely. I finally find out I need to go to the front desk. The Rona employee there is friendly and takes the card, heads off for a couple of minutes, and then returns to tell me they don't have any. I say the website says they're in stock. The employee goes finds someone else, this 3rd employee finds the item in the system and confirms it's in stock. Myself and the 3rd employee go back to the original location and find the item on a high shelf in a nondescript box that just has a number on the outside. The 3rd employee gets a ladder and takes the item to the front for me to purchase. It shouldn't be this difficult to buy a product. There is a pass-the-buck employee culture which is a frustrating experience for a customer. I knew exactly what I wanted, I knew exactly where it was meant to be, and I still needed to convince 3 Rona employees to help me.

  Had to load bagged dirt outside,no one around,then went in to pay??? One cash open as couldn't use self check without are code. Had to wait. Nobody seems to care.

  Definitely would never buy auto parts from Auto Shack at Rona in Belleville again . We purchased brakes for our vehicles , one was not working proper so was told when returning it for a different one that they don’t do returns unless you have a letter from a mechanic stating it’s defective , so those of us that do our own repairs at home if they sell you a defective part and you try and return it for another your SOL , when head office was contacted they’re words basically too bad for you .
