They do NOT abide by Code or Scanning practices. 2 ppl confirmed this. After I flagged the mistake; a cashier confirmed the correct price which was advertised on shelf tag, and then they offered to drop the price it was advertised for. I was ready to purchase… but then a so called manager “Todd” for reason unknown stepped in when I was ready to pay; I asked him if they abide by the Scanning code; he said he was “going to make it right”…. Then went on to explained that he put in incorrect price on system… counted the items…then told the cashier to sell it to me for the advertised price!!!!??? This was already agreed on by a cashier.. why was Todd wasting my time? He needs some customer service sessions. He purposefully wasted my time…Passive aggression is NOT the way to treat customers..Thanks to Todd I left the several hundred dollar total purchase and will not be using Rona when working in town.

I am totally sick of wasting my time driving to this store and the shelves or racks aren’t stocked Their inventory says they have the stock, but in the building department is too lazy to stock the racks and shelves. Two weeks ago the inventory said they had 47 of the privacy panels I needed, but yet again, nothing on the rack and the employee didn’t want to get someone to get them down from up top. Today I needed 4 step stair stringers. I only needed 4, the inventory said there was 37, yet again, only 2 on the rack. As a contractor, time is money to me. Again I had to drive down to Home Depot to get what I needed, which I did get the materials at Home Depot no problem! Rona North Barrie building department , get your shit together! As you have now lost me as a customer! Robert’s Deck and Fence Restoration!

Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?

If you see a truck or van parked at the store, that’s the first sign that it’s available for rent. To save yourself a trip, you can call the RONA store’s customer service desk ahead of time to confirm availability. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA+ charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA+ does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
