  Joe was excellent! We’ve been to so many different furniture stores for weeks now and every single time we felt like we were being harassed as soon as we walked in, even had sales people following us around the store. Leon’s Barrie was the one store where we got a friendly greeting from Joe, he explained the layout of the store to us and let us roam around freely without bother and when we decided on a couch we sat down and discussed our options colours etc, he made the whole experience easy as possible. The team who delivered it as well were right on time and got the couch in the door with no issues whatsoever. Thank you again Joe! We will be back

  We ordered 2 chaise sofas and they were delivered we could not put some of the pieces together as the brackets were not installed properly. I called the same day and was told a technician would call me soon to make an appointment to come out. After numerous calls and getting a runaround I was told the name of the person who would call me when they got in . They did not so I called back and was told she was busy and would call me back later. No call! I called the salesman and he said he would look into and see what he could do ! Nothing no call back ! Considering sales are low you would think Leon’s would treat their customers well but no! Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I called and sent a message to their head office we will see if they respond ? Next step is contacting Sean O’ Shea with Global news and see if they can resolve it . Think twice before buying from Leon’s because if you have a problem they do not want to resolve it!

  Great Experience at Leon's Barrie! I recently purchased a sofa from the Leon's in Barrie, and the entire process was seamless. The sales associate Joe was so helpful. The selection was great. Excellent delivery service.. The team was punctual, professional, and handled everything with care. Highly recommend!

  I recently purchased a sectional from Leon’s and had a really disappointing experience. The couch arrived with a clear manufacturer defect — the frame isn’t aligned properly and the sections don’t fit together as they should. This wasn’t damage from use; it was defective right out of the box. I contacted the store immediately after receiving the couch. They said they would send a technician to look at the couch - which was obviously beyond repair. Additionally, the earliest time a technician could even come was a month later. So I went in person to show the photos which the staff finally agreed it wasn’t fixable and they would look at getting a replacement. At that point I didn’t want a replacement or store credit so I asked for a refund. I was told that because all sales are final, they could only offer a replacement or store credit — no refund. That’s frustrating, because this isn’t a case of changing my mind. I paid for a new, properly functioning couch and didn’t receive that. A replacement doesn’t inspire confidence when the original product arrived defective, and store credit forces me to keep spending money with a company that hasn’t resolved the issue properly. I expected better customer service and accountability. Selling defective furniture and refusing refunds under a blanket “final sale” policy is not acceptable. Would not recommend purchasing from any Leon’s.

  Sales person (Denise k) was pushy, wouldn't leave us alone till we went to another department, to hide and talk. Didn't know anything about the sofa we purchased. She kept trying to push a 5 year warranty on us. Couldn't even tell me the sofa factory warranty. I flipped the tag and it had a great factory warranty. I ended up having to ask a manager what the factory warranty covered as is electric operated. When purchase was done the reciept was tossed to us across the counter, assuming because we didn't get the warranty. If we didn't like the sofa and it wasn't a fair price, we would have gone elsewhere! The delivery guys were awesome, didn't get their names, but careful courteous very happy with their service. Bolts feel it if sofa on day 2, I have had this new sofa for weeks. Tried calling and e Mail to their service provider. 1st booking canceled by vendor, 2nd cal requested late appointment as I work. They showed up unannounced, no one to let them in except my elderly mother. She won't let people in due to her safety. Tried to book again still no answer and it's been a week. Just want my money back, come get your sofa if your not going to fix it. Glad I didn't buy extended warranty, rather hire my own vendor. Please help. 🙏
