We chose Blinds to Go because of great reviews from people we know, and also because they are a Canadian company. We had a major issue with our order and, when the store manager and company were notified, they were quick to resolve it in a professional and timely manner. Had the issue not occurred, our rating would have been a 5 -- exceptional. We would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

While I did have a couple of quality issues with my order, the staff at the Barrie location were fantastic. They were professional in how the handled the situation, and went above and beyond to fix the problem. From Mackenzie to the rest of the team, good job. Will definitely shop there again.

Just want to say I’ve had two separate, very positive interactions with Sergiy. He’s provided exceptional customer service both times. Last year he came to our cottage to help with selection and he was an excellent communicator. This year I ordered two additional blinds and had trouble installing myself. Sergiy, on a day off, went to his car to get the brackets so he could make a demonstration video for me. It was detailed and clear. When I spoke to him later on the phone, he gave me additional tips to make it fit just right. When I discovered a small hole in one of the blinds he didn’t hesitate to make it right, even offering to drop It off at my home in Toronto. My neighbour was impressed with not only the product but with Sergiy and she plans to go through him when they redo all the blinds in their cottage in the next year or two. We had a great experience with Blinds To Go last year, so we came back this year for more blinds. Unfortunately, this time around was a different experience. We were bounced between three or four different people, which was frustrating, and I made that very clear to them. We live about an hour and a half from the Barrie location, so after the blinds were completed, we made the three-hour round trip to pick them up. After getting home and installing them, we discovered that one of the large blinds had been made in the wrong color. I submitted a formal complaint and explained that driving another three hours to return it and then another three hours to pick up the replacement wasn't exactly reasonable. Honestly, while waiting for their response, I was expecting the usual corporate answer and was prepared for this company to be going down the toilet like so many others seem to be these days. Especially in regards to customer service. I was pleasantly surprised. They took the issue seriously, assured me the correct blind would be made, and arranged to have it shipped directly to our home. The associates, specifically Sarah, involved in resolving the issue really did redeem the company in my eyes. So, while the process this year was frustrating and the mistake shouldn't have happened, I have to give them credit for how they ultimately handled it. That's how you fix a problem. Great customer service and great product. Thanks.
