    We’ve purchased many items from Leon’s Dartmouth location over the years and the service has almost always been excellent. The last delivery of sofas we had was horrible. The delivery people showed up on the correct day and even called ahead. When they arrived though, the delivery person who appeared to be in charge wouldn’t listen to our instructions. We told him the sofas wouldn’t fit through our living room doorway without taking the feet off. He insisted they would and damaged our home bringing each sofa in. The damage wasn’t just scratches but deep grooves in our doorway and scuffs on the walls. I contacted the store, sent pictures, and we dealt with their delivery manager who initially seemed concerned and was going to address the issue, but over the following month did nothing but cause frustration. He initially offered a $100 gift certificate for our trouble but that never arrived. He then changed his mind and wanted to send their own contracted carpenter out to attempt a repair. The last thing we wanted was to allow an unknown 3rd party to do work on our home and potentially make it worse. When you are having furniture or appliances delivered, don’t let them in your home unless they agree to treat your home with respect and bring the furniture in as you request. There is little recourse after the fact.

    Extremely poor Service..!! We had a worst experience ever with Leon's furniture. We bought all the furniture for our new house from Leon’s, and I also got a fridge from there. But when they came to deliver the fridge, they were really unprofessional. They brought it into the house without being careful and ended up damaging the fridge, the walls, the floor, and even the main door of my house. I returned the fridge and also made a claim for all the damage. They said claims usually take around 3 months, but now it’s been more than 4 months. I’ve sent so many emails, but still haven’t gotten any reply.

    I am very frustrated with Leons, I bought a reclining sofa and chair in mid September and in March the chair started making noise and grinding when I reclined it, I called and service was out to check on it, he said the motor was going and he would have to order another one. I have been waiting over 2 months now for a repair. I called twice now only to be told " I will check and call you back" they never do and I always have to call them for updates.

    What an absolutely useless group. Specifically their warranty and service team. We called them today regarding a fridge that has stopped working and they show absolutely no urgency in their handling of the situation. The compressor stopped working meaning we have nothing to keep our food cold. And the earliest they intended to send someone out to fix it is 9 days from now. We called them back to get a better date and they claim they only service dartmouth on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and when we pointed out that today is Monday they said they need PERMISSION to put us on a cancellation list. That is totally unacceptable. Do not use leons if you want good service.

    Initially things were good. We were buying a new bed and frame. The sales person was friendly and seems helpful. No issues until delivery day. We weren’t informed that with the adjustable bed frames that the delivery crew has to set them up. This caused a bit of chaos as our original bed was still in place. Luckily the delivery crew were amazing and took the time to take ours apart and set up the new one. A full 5 starts for them. What the sales person failed to mention was that the bed frame we purchased wasn’t available in king size so the frame we got wasn’t what we agreed to in the store. Technically the right one on the paperwork but not what we wanted. I contacted the store right away to discuss these things and was told they would look into and call me back. They didn’t, I had to reach out to them and was told that person I spoke to after the delivery, the sales manager, couldn’t help me and had to talk to the customer service manager. It has been weeks and I haven’t heard back even after I have reached out three times since then. I can live with the bed, but the lack of caring and willingness to even respond to me is really off putting.
