Jysk used to be an economical place to reliably get rugs, sheets, towels and stuff. Now they’ve switched focus to be a ladies’ experience with cute fluffy junk and knockoff IKEA furniture. )-:

We've been shopping here for small home details like storage and picture frames for a while, but the prices alone should have people flocking to also participate in the great products! My spouse and I were looking for a new couch this year, however, and the team at the Bridgewater has made it the easiest and best experience I've ever had obtaining new furniture. Lori, Aiden, and the rest of the crew that helped us out were so friendly, courteous, helpful, and energetic. Even going so far as to check on the status of our rain check when we asked, and with enthusiasm. 10/10 will be coming back any time we require another piece in our home. Thank you guys!

Lovely experience with Lori! I came in having no idea what I wanted. First-time new furniture buyer so I had no expectations, but she and the other staff met them. Friendly, patient, and helpful. Asked about my budget and worked with me to find pieces to work with my space. Plus pops of decor to finish it all off. Will be going there for anything else I may need. Thank you so much for everything!

I intentionally went to the JYSK store at the Bridgewater Mall in August to shop for a matresstopper and possibly a new pillow. As unusual, I was greeted by a member of the staff who offered information on sale items and to assist me if needed. I wanted to wander a bit, but finally made my way to the mattress section and was offered assistance from " Adam." He patiently lugged several samples of toppers out forme to try, and the retry before making a decision. There was no pushy sales pitch, just offers to help me find the best topper for my needs, and with success. I wandered off to the pillowsection and her once again offer information and encouraged me to test out a few types. After making a decision he took my item to the counter for check out. I mentioned to the cashier how helpful Adam was and she asked me to send in a review of my service experience. Though a tad late submitting, I am happy to give a shout out to Adam and Roz at JYSK, Bridgewater, NS.
