On November 24, 2025, I purchased a toilet seat that I later discovered had been used and placed back on display. I was unaware of this at the time of purchase. When I asked the cashier if I could open the box to inspect it, I noticed it was scratched and appeared to be the last one on the shelf. She offered a discount, but upon closer inspection I realized the seat had urine stains, which I touched with my bare hands. I was extremely upset and told her I would instead purchase a different one.
When I got home, I discovered that the “new” toilet seat I purchased was missing parts. I returned to the store to exchange it, and while looking for the missing part myself, since no one was available to assist me, I noticed the used toilet seat had been placed back on the shelf, even though I had informed the manager that it was unsanitary and should not be resold.
During the return, the manager was dismissive and told me to come back the following day because the store was about to close. I explained that I was already frustrated by the earlier incident and did not intend to make another trip. She processed the refund but did so with an attitude, handed me the paperwork, and told me to find a pen to sign it.
This experience was extremely disappointing, unsanitary, and unprofessional.
