- EPEdward PollardNov 28, 20255.0Always clean and orderly. My spaces were exactly what I needed and the staff were always helpful and polite. I wish a few aspects could have been better. The elevator doors are timed to close much too quickly, considering that people with full dollies are trying to wheel them in. The security system is also timed for a very short window to enter your floor. It's awkward and inconvenient unless you do it one very specific way. Sometime after I began using the ExtraSpace facility on Lime St., all bathrooms remained locked and inaccessible before and after office hours. If the sole employee was taken away from the business office desk abd you needed the key to ANY bathroom, you had to wait. This created multiple dilemmas and severely altered my ability to comfortably access my spaces, which were not close to the restrooms or the front office. In addition, the knobby yellow strip right outside the entrance glass doors frequently served to rattle items off my dolly. There seemed to be no remedy, except put fewer items on a vehicle strong enough to carry much more. I do appreciate that ExtraSpace management ceased the playing of an AM radio station throughout the facility where anyone who visited would have to endure its playlist, announcers, and commercials. Silence was much better. Plus, I don't know if it bothered anyone else, but the clatter of the dolly wheels on the concrete floor when guiding an empty one to my door was unusually loud and echoed loudly until I reached my unit. Different (re: softer) wheels would spare tenants the painfully loud clattering of these carts on the concrete floor and the almost entirely echo-friendly metal and stone walls within the facility. I always wondered how dangerous it is to use the carts when they consistently are so uncomfortably loud. I do appreciate these surveys for the opportunity I have to explain what I would have liked to be better. Thank you for helping me when I needed it. Edward Pollard
