I pick up a LOT of online ordered water heaters here for clients. Now the front desk requires me now to interact with an iPad instead of just telling a person, usually a person is there to help me get the order. Today I went to the iPad, entered the order with the help of an associate who notified receiving I was coming back to pick up the heater. Back at receiving, nobody saw me there to pickup my order. There was a lot of stuff placed conveniently in the way of the little office window. I walk back to notify them: I can hear a couple ladies talking about their holidays and kids, but they can't hear me trying to get their attention. One lady comes out and starts interrogating me, chastising me for being back there, not being escorted, etc. She then turns away from me, DOESN'T OFFER TO HELP ME, radio's a separate associate (who did kindly help me) but then goes and starts yelling at this person about her performance. LOWES: the problem is not the associate's response time, it's the fact that I spoke with 5 people and an iPad, was lectured for doing something I do sometimes 5 days a week at this store, and then the person that helped me was reprimanded in front of myself and their coworkers for something that their boss, who was busy ignoring customers and making small talk, also DID NOT DO. LOWES: you're creating frustrated customers AND employees. Please advise this lady to change her habits, I'm sure she's a nice person and a good worker but is just being failed by the roles and rules of a large institution. The separate associate is very busy helping people with orders while at least 5 other employees mill about, gossip, and look at the other folks actually doing something.

I came to Lowe’s recently, and I want to share my experience—this is actually my second visit. The first time, I worked with Nico Llaneras from the flooring department, and he was extremely helpful with all my questions. After that, I did some research and checked pricing at competitors, which were very competitive. I came back to Lowe’s for one final review with my wife, and Nico was there again to assist us. He did an excellent job addressing all my questions, concerns, and “what-if” scenarios. Thanks to his guidance, we decided to make a large purchase to re-floor our entire house, upstairs and downstairs. Because of his professionalism and support, Lowe’s earned our business. It’s employees like Nico that keep customers coming back and help people make the right decisions. If you’re looking for flooring—or anything else—come to Lowe’s and look for great representatives like him. Excellent job, Lowe’s!

ATTN: MARK THE AGM!!!! Dear AGM / Store Management Team, I’m writing to share a customer experience that truly deserves recognition. I’m a Canadian visiting loved ones in California and arrived on December 23rd. I had planned to bake all day on Christmas Eve and had ordered a culinary torch well in advance on amazon only to realize the day before Christmas that I didn’t have butane to make my hot cocoa cookies. We stopped by your Lowe’s location to look for butane, but unfortunately the store was sold out. That’s when a Christmas miracle happened- MARK! Mark stepped in with the warmest, most positive attitude. Even during what I can only imagine was a very busy and stressful holiday rush and already tending to a customer, he treated both his staff and me with genuine kindness and respect. He went above and beyond to help us find an alternative torch that included butane and quite literally saved Christmas baking in our household. Mark was an absolute hero. Customer service like his is becoming rare, and Lowe’s is incredibly lucky to have him. He is the kind of employee who leaves a lasting impression and turns a stressful situation into a wonderful memory. He truly deserves recognition (and honestly, a raise). Please feel free to pass along my thanks and appreciation to Mark. I’ve also attached a photo of the hot cocoa cookies that were a huge success and holiday favourite. I hope Mark & the Lowe’s team had a lovely Christmas, and thank you for employing such outstanding people, the work they do is appreciated. Warm regards, A very grateful customer Alexandra

I am a disabled navy veteran and pro member who had a cervical disc replacement 2 weeks ago (so still healing). I went 15 miles out of my way to drive to this location since they had my item in stock. It’s a heavy electric fireplace, something I shouldn’t be lifting. I went in and explained why I needed help getting the item and getting it in my car, the associate (in returns) was more than willing to get someone to help me. She deserves a raise honestly. But no one came to help. I did see the associate she called about 3 times to help me stocking mulch. So I waited for when he was done so he could help me. Instead he started helping people that just walked up and it had been about 10-15 minutes from the first call. So I then realized I would be getting no help so I drug the fireplace to check out mentioning a comment about no one coming to assist to the associate who called for me. Finally at that point I was met at the checkout with a cart, and expected to lift the item onto it after them knowing I was unable to do so. After check out I wanted to talk to the store manager but a floor manager insisted I talk with her. So I went off, and left. I will NEVER visit this location again!

Why do I feel so wonderful when I leave Lowe’s and so conflicted when I leave Home Depot? Because of Logan and Christine Boyd at the Lowe’s Haun Rd. Menifee location A while back I was limping through the store after getting my ankles fused and Kristine asked me what I was doing. I told her which product I was there to buy and she says “well why are you doing it? Why won’t you just let us do it for you” and she explained their entire customer service system; how I can order it online and have it just delivered into my car. ( I broke my back w/motocross. I mean this changed everything, the Lowe’s app is not intuitive and I was making a lot of mistakes when ordering so I just went back to wandering through the store and then doing everything myself, Christine Boyd saved me! Christine Boyd has made shopping enjoyable and she makes me feel like we’re just friends from the neighborhood and Not like she’s doing me a favor. I guess I just feel valued. When it comes to Logan Litchtenberger, he’s been amazing because, for example, during the holidays, my wife and I only had one car. I placed my order. I drove straight there and it hadn’t been processed yet and I said hey, could you do me a favor because I have to get the car back and I haven’t received order confirmation yet that it’s ready. Logan looked it up on the app by my last name, pressed it and said “OK I’ll get it right over to you. Meet me by lumber.” Let me tell you something: I’m 63 years old. I’ve been consulting with the largest organizations in our county, development, construction, engineering while influencing over 12,000 homes in the valley since 2005. This doesn’t happen at other stores; definitely not national chains. This location put rows of shopping carts within the store, which is made it incredibly easier to shop because I don’t have to walk back-and-forth looking for a cart because I never remember to get a cart because I was never gonna buy as much as I ended up buying. I really like the people. The store is ‘the customer facing individuals-like Christine Boyd and Logan’ that make us shop there. We don’t shop at Home Depot anymore. And frankly, I was on a mission to get everyone to shop at Amazon because it was just getting too crazy: every retailer acts like they’re doing us a favor when we’re a customer— but not Lowe’s not christine and not Logan. Highly recommend!
