  After reading the many positive reviews of C & W, I was very disappointed with our experience. Clayton gave me an estimate and the option to remove the tallest tree or cut off the top 1/3. The men who arrived didn't appear to have gotten clear instructions and asked me what I wanted to do with the tree. When I said I had decided to have them cut back the top 1/3, the person in charge told me that would not be advisable because it would not look good when it grew back. In hindsight, I should have called the company before proceeding. The estimate was based on the removal of l/3 of a very tall tree, which would have required more work (possibly equipment?) than the workers came prepared to do. They did very little work on the tree, and I paid too much for the minimal amount of trimming they did. At first, it didn't occur to me to complain since I have never complained to a company about work done, but when I later decided to contact them, they were not helpful. I don't recommend using this company, but if you decide to, make sure that the estimate you are given spells out exactly what you and their representative agree to. I would also check to make sure that the workers doing the work are licensed.
