We're offering safe Alterations services for your convenience. During your in-store Alterations appointment, you can expect a safe environment where a mask is provided to you. Alterations employees will also be staying safe in both a mask and gloves. We'll take precautions such as increased sanitization in fitting rooms. If you had alterations being completed before our store closures and your completed garments are ready for pickup, we'll reach out to coordinate complimentary shipping of items directly to you. If safe Contactless Curbside Pickup is available at your store, you can choose to pick up completed garments via this method or have them shipped to you.

- APAgnieszka PieterwasFeb 14, 20261.0I came to Nordstrom expecting highly professional service especially that they advertise on their website denim alternations. It’s not easy to do a good job with denim. Little did I know service would be so poor! The first seamstress I spoke with told me a price of $35 and $10 more for the same day service but when I went to a register to pay there was $95 on the bill. I wanted to leave at this point because I didn’t trust them but a very nice and competent Nordstrom lady said she was going to fix it because there was not even my name on the bill. She did fix the billing. But when I came to pick up my jeans, the seam was completely different color and not even straight! When I asked to spoke to a different seamstress, she told me that sometimes they don’t have the exact color thread. Say what? They advertise as professional alternations but they are not. These are $300 jeans, and I was expecting skillful denim professional, and I got a regular pants alternation instead, and not even a good job. The second seamstress fixed it but I had to wait another half an hour, and I am not happy with the job.
