  April simply did not care about me as her customer at Hobby Lobby La Quinta today. I have NEVER been treated so rudely in all of my life! I had a simple return with the register receipt and she told me I needed the pink slip showing the handwritten measurements. I told her I didn’t need it before and she immediately snapped back. I ignored that time but when she continued to speak to me in the same tone I told her that her attitude was not good and I would never speak to any of my customers like she was speaking to me. I have worked in customer for years and I I know the importance of being kind and personable to every guest. But, she did not care at all! We both got louder as I insisted that I was trying to tell her how I feel as a customer and she said I couldn’t just speak to her any way. I never called her a name or said anything much outside of how she was speaking to me. I have never argued with someone like this simply defending the way I was being treated. I asked for a manager as she still continued her same tone and demeanor. The managers, Autumn and Daisy soon came over and they were both actually very kind and helpful. April continued rolling her eyes and being extremely disrespectful. The managers agreed that I needed the handwritten slip as well. I thanked them for speaking to me like a person as I gathered my things and left the sewing area. Then as I was exiting the doors the managers, Autumn and Daisy, both came running up to me saying they would do my return. I did not go back to the area as I decided to wait further away. I did not want to see April again. I waited while they issued my return and I was happy they saw my side of things. I also spoke to the other employee who witnessed everything and she apologized saying she was so uncomfortable she had to leave. I thank the managers for being upstanding and issuing my return, but I warn you all against April. She does not care about being a nice, kind, helpful employee and, as a woman of color, I’m pretty sure she has zero respect for what we say or how we feel. I do not plan to ever visit this location again and I do not ever want to come across the likes of April for the rest of my life. Shame on her for the ghastly treatment she gave me today. I am beyond disappointed! :( ;(

  This place has almost everything! In two weeks before Christmas the Christmas items are 50% off! Hard argue with that!

  Let me begin by saying I love me some Hobby Lobby! I came the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving 45 minites before close. One frustrating thing about HL and no two stores are laid out the same. I hate that! But I needed some simple craft glue. I asked three associates who told me three different places to check. No luck. I keep getting the other few items needed and still have no glue. They are closing in 5 minutes. Still frantically looking an associate says to me “we are closed-if you don’t head to the front now you won’t be rung up” what?? How rude are you??? Turns out ALL the glue is up front on a turn around-what the heck??? I paid and left but it was not a good shopping experience.
