- ACAdriana Castro-Aljurdi5 days ago1.0My store was involved in a fire. Some of my appliances were salvageable. Got a storage unit from them after paying for the truck and movers, they called and said my stuff smelled and I need to take everything out again. I told them the situation but they said it would attract rodents. If they actually did a simple google search they would find out it’s an actual deterrent. Nonetheless I asked if I could move into a bigger outdoor unit and they said to leave, period. Horrible. I had to rent a truck and pay movers all over again. No where in contract does it state if you were in a fire your items can’t smell. And by the way it wasn’t a bad smell. The lady described it as smell of bbq. Smell would have gone away soon anyway. Never again not even to use them for regular storage. I will stick to the big names for this. I’m not big on bashing a business since I myself have one, but this one really did me dirty.

I looked online and found Extra Space. Their rates were amonst the lowest so I called them. I spoke with Ariana Salas and she provided all the information I needed. She was kind, professional, and thorough. A breath of fresh air. She has great customer service skills. Thank you for that. She followed up with me in case I had any questions and to let me know when she would be there so that I wouldn't go there and miss her. I finally rented the unit and she made the entire process easy. I called several times with small questions and she not once was bothered by my questions. She answered every one with friendly politeness. Extra Space; make sure you keep her. She is an asset to your company. P.S. the place looked very clean from the office to the customer parking, and out in the back where parking spots are rented.
