  Large and well organised store with lovely merchandise, it was my 1st visit to World Market and I was pleasantly surprised. Home goods, clothing and Foods from different countries. Perfect for decorating at a good price.

  I have never in my life completely left my filled cart at a store and driven to another location because of customer service, until today. Whoever the male manager working is (Thursday 3/12, 1PM), should not be in retail. Period. I asked him three separate questions and each were met with clear distain and completely closed off answers, which is the exact opposite of what customer service standards are for any retail business. I intended to buy furniture, home decor as well as everything for multiple Easter baskets with the knowledge that I'd be spending thousands and he just lost that sale for his store, congratulations. The store is always well organized but that doesn't matter if you feel like you're a bother to the staff by simply asking if they have a restroom. Furthermore, if you have some sort of security issue going on in your bathroom, you should tell all your staff to kindly let customers who ask know it is unfortunately out of order however there are a couple available public restrooms within the shopping center and direct them to those. I was completely flabbergasted and gave him multiple chances to correct his attitude before I walked out. I will happily drive to and purchase from the next closest World Market because he does not deserve to have his metrics and sales helped by someone who he couldn't even talk to respectfully. Advise to him from a tenured retail DM: check your attitude at the door, you work with the public. Don't like people? It shows. Find a new line of work.

  I have bought towels, India comforters, throw pillows, glasses, dishes, wall calendars, fake plants, a dining set, table lamp and many other items. Always authentic, many items look hand made.

  Christian is a true gem to your store - he helped me create my account and get a 15% off discount but also took genuine concern in me as a person which is exceptionally rare in customer service in San Diego. I hope he is promoted to General Manager one day - his level of quality consider and service is not only commendable but should be rewarded. I will be back and tell all I know to ask for him!

  I love this store but the cashiers utter disdain for customers makes it an unpleasant experience
