Lowe’s home center in La Habra is selling an item for $9 higher than the other local stores in Norwalk and Pico Rivera.
I bought an item at the Norwalk Lowe’s on Thursday. The item was defective so I took it back to Norwalk and asked for an exchange. The item was not in stock at Norwalk so they gave me a refund and said I could go get the item at La Habra or Pico Rivera
I chose to go directly to the La Habra Lowe’s. I went directly to the shelf to get the item and noticed the price was $9 higher than the price at the Norwalk store.
La Habra $61.98.
Norwalk $52.98
I took the item directly to the exchange counter and explained the situation but the person at the counter refused to give me the original price I paid. I asked for the manager. When the manager arrived, the manager also refused to give me the original price. I had to argue with the manager to get her to finally give me the original price.
The manager claimed that they don’t price match from store to store. The manager also stated that the La Habra Lowe’s is in a different district than Norwalk and Pico Rivera.
This is very misleading to consumers and leads to Lowe’s poor customer service.
I wont be shopping at Lowe’s in the future.
In general, Lowe’s prices are higher than Home Depot anyway.

Very poor service. I bought a faucet. When I got open the box it had not only the wrong faucet but a used faucet. When I went to exchange the the faucet and gave them my phone for easy exchange and returns they said I need a hard copy of receipt. Whats the point of giving my phone number if that is not good enough for an exchange?
So not only do they ripe you off my selling you iteams they have taken returns on but did not inspect the iteam to protect their customers, but than when you call them they say that the system they wanted you to sign up for doesn't allow exchanges. Sound like complete BS.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
