  Went in-person to view the different sized storage units available to suit my needs. The individual who assisted me was very helpful, thorough, and efficient in showing me different sized units. He was very patient and kind in answering my numerous questions and was able to assist me to view and secure a unit within 20 minutes. The storage space is clean and “move-in” ready. I appreciate the professionalism and promptness to help as trying to select a unit online without seeing it in person was difficult.

  I had an absolutely horrific experience with Extra Space Storage, and I strongly urge anyone considering storing their belongings here to think very carefully. A severe moth infestation occurred and the result was devastating. My belongings, including cashmere, wool, silk, one of a kind garments, and family heirlooms, were damaged and destroyed. I found moth larvae on furniture and worms in my rugs, and large portions of my wardrobe had to be removed, cleaned, or discarded. Paying to store your belongings only to have them damaged and infested while in the facility’s care is an incredibly distressing and unacceptable experience. Beyond the significant financial loss, this has created an ongoing problem. I now have to worry about cross contamination, and the situation will not truly be over until I am able to move everything into a new home and fully inspect and treat all of my belongings. It has turned what should have been simple storage into months of stress and uncertainty. To deal with the infestation, I had to make multiple trips and incur substantial expenses including dry cleaning, flights, Airbnbs, car rentals, and hiring help to manage the labor of sorting and removing affected items. No one expects to face this kind of disruption when trusting a storage facility with their possessions. What has been equally alarming is the lack of accountability from management. Despite raising multiple serious concerns, including pest control issues and property that was disposed of without my consent, there has been no meaningful action taken to address the situation. No discount or reimbursement has been offered and I'm now paying for another storage facility that I had to move my clothing into after several months of remediation and dry cleaning. The storage lockers have open wired ceilings, leaving stored belongings exposed to pests and contamination from other units. For a place that is supposed to safely store personal property, this is extremely concerning. Experiencing an infestation like this due to contamination within a storage facility is something no customer should have to go through. I've utilized dozens of storage facilities for my work in many different states and have never encountered any issue of this magnitude. Paying to store your personal belongings only to have them damaged by pests is a nightmare scenario. I've never felt so violated and overwhelmed. I would strongly recommend avoiding this facility if you value the safety of your property.
