I needed a locksmith service for a lost mailbox key and if he could help. The first issue is he rudely explained me that he can't replace a key I lost... I didn't ask him to replace a key I lost, I asked him if he could help with the situation. Tried to give the benefit of the doubt that he probably gets asked that question a lot so I shrugged it off. Then, I told him USPS could coordinate a time to open all the mailboxes together (it's a group of mailboxes, not an individual box) so that he can do what he needs to do. He then proceeded to be condescending and say that he can just break into it but I had just explained there's no need to break in because USPS will open it for us... He was fine with that after I explained it for the 2nd time. He then asked what time USPS will come. I needed to coordinate a time with the locksmith first, which I explained, and asked what time he could come today. Then he began to be condescending again and said he can do any time from 3PM onward but he needs to know what time USPS is coming then started to scold me that I needed USPS to open the mailboxes before he even gets there... Even though I had already told him I need to coordinate time with him first. I had explained everything to him yet he kept treating me poorly over the phone. I told him I'd find someone else who is willing to help then hung up.. He tried to call me back - didn't answer. Alex, do better - we're asking you for a service not to be spoken to in a condescending manner after I was trying to be as polite as possible on the phone. If you're going to be condescending to your customers then go find a profession that involves no human interaction - you clearly have no customer service skills.
