- PNP NFeb 8, 20261.0I showed up at 5:30 PM on Sunday and waited over 20 minutes at Lowe’s after requesting help from two different employees. I was told the paint associate was on the way, so I stood there waiting, but no one ever showed up. Meanwhile, several employees walked by without offering assistance. Very frustrating customer service experience. I won’t be returning, and it’s a good thing there are alternative options.

The dishwasher was the same brand and size as the existing one it replaced. During installation, the installer cut two large holes in my cabinets without asking for permission and then demanded an additional $180, claiming the new openings were required to run the drain line. I questioned why the existing holes were not used, and the installer said it was “not easy” to install that way. After they left, I called my licensed plumber. My plumber successfully reinstalled the dishwasher using the original existing hole, confirming that cutting new holes was completely unnecessary. Unfortunately, the damage to my cabinets is permanent and cannot be undone. The cabinet damage was caused solely by the installer’s poor workmanship. This was a very disappointing experience, and I would strongly caution others before using Lowe’s installation services.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
