    I contacted Leslie's for service, and they must farm it out to a foreign country. Everytime I call, it is frustrating trying to understand the customer service person. If this continues, Leslies is going to lose business. It is a bad move to hire these people. Henry George

    They are outstanding at Leslie Encinitas CA. While stores are at the mercy of the employees this store knocks it out of the park because of a great district manger Lee as he hires the best people and makes sure they are well trained. The store manager Cassidy is amazing and is non stop to make sure we are satisfied. Recently I was in the market for a pool heater and found the prices varied over $1500 one band to the next. I found what we wanted that replaced the existing unit with a slight up grade. Lee and Cassidy said they would price match and install free. I found a deal on a unit saving $600 but had to pick it up and pay for install. While it was 180 miles RT saving $600 was worth it. However I was so impressed with them I asked them to workout something which they did. Not only matched the price but will install for free. I might have been able to install myself because it is form fit as the replacement but having experts do it makes more sense. Cassidy went back and forth making sure we had the correct unit and received proper credit for the price match. I have tremendous faith in Lee and he is a man of honor. I had prior experience with him as noted below. I will like to point out to Leslie Corp you have two SUPPER-Stars with Lee and Cassidy and hope you realize this and never let them go. Walter Dean Carlsbad CA UPDATE DATE I wrote a 1 Star review because of the terrible service. I am changing that to 5 star because I was contacted by Leslie's District Manager Lee. He was very upset with the review and looked up my account. It explained a change in personnel created some issues and he would make it right. He picked up the pool cleaner and drove it over 40 miles to a store that had an expert on this model. It was difficult to get parts for an older model but every few days he called with an update. It took a month but when it was finally fixed he personally delivered it to my house. He put it in the pool and tested it. Leslie refused to accept any money and you could see they really upgraded it. I offered to write a letter asking for superior but Lee said that is not needed all I want to to make you a satisfied customer again. Everything is because Lee the District Manager felt what had happened was wrong and not up to Leslie's standard and certainly not up to his. Leslie I hope you never lose this guy he changed me from 1 start to 5 star customer. Also it tells you the power of letting know when things are wrong and important when they make them right

    Customer service is the worst! Employees, including the managers, are rude and belittle you for not understanding something about your pool. I’ve taken my business elsewhere.
