- TCTerence C.2 days ago5.0DO NOT even consider going with Public Storage aka "Public Bathroom" here in Sacramento or Davis. Extra Space Storage is a way more elevated experience in ever sense of the word. The only disadvantage of Extra Space Storage is that there isn't enough of them but the quality of their service both on site and online are probably the best way better than the Public Storage facilities in Sacramento and Davis. 1. Online experience is excellent. It's the future of public storage 2. You have access to AND can set up your rental unit for a way longer period than the main competitor. PS will advertise that they are open until 9PM but their site managers will abandon you right when they are clocking out. No questions asked. 3. Great technology. If there is not site manager present, they have a customer service button right at the office that give you help at any time of the day pretty much. It's amazing. 4. Way better crowd than PS here in Sacramento or Davis. You can tell the people who choose this don't want to just go for the bottom tier option and actually looked for a great storage unit. 5. The facilities are just so clean and well designed. Everything is good. The elevators work well, the rental unit look clean and thing just look brand new. 6. Customer Service is top notch. Talked with a lady named Gina online and she was just great. Even when US-based service was not available you can get service from very well-trained overseas reps.

She was attentive to what we needed and checked on us during the process.
