  We were greeted by Alex when we entered the store. We shopped for a recliner, which took almost 2 hours, and Alex never left our side. I have purchased recliners before and after spending time with Alex I didn’t realize how little I knew about purchasing one I would be happy with for years to come. Our salesman, Alex, was a walking repository of information about recliners in general and La-Z-boy specifically. He was able to answer our questions without referring to reference material and was quite adept at getting my wife and I to narrow down what features we liked. We also got quite an education about La-Z-boy recliners and how to tell if they fit us or not. Alex was always patient and kept us engaged while helping us with our quest to purchase a recliner in ONLY ONE visit. The fact that we never felt pushed to buy or upgrade anything was refreshing. We left the store after leaving a deposit on the recliner we wanted built for us and thought that was it. The next day we came to realize that we could actually use two features we had not ordered on the recliner. I called Alex and added the ‘rocking’ and ‘swivel’ features. I was a bit apprehensive about the expense of those features but was pleasantly surprised to learn that after ALL ADDITIONAL expenses were totaled the price increase was only $156. I would highly recommend ALEX to anyone looking to buy any La-Z-boy product!

  Sooo happy with my power recliner. I placed this order over the phone. It was easy and Gary was so very helpful. I needed a quality power recliner after having a heart attack and a triple bypass. It arrived today and I've already taken a much restful nap on it. Thank you Gary at the Duarte store. I appreciate your assistance.

I finally scheduled a design consultation with Susan Bennet at The Lazy Boy Showroom in Duarte, and I'm still absolutely buzzing about how productive and delightful it was. To be honest, I walked in feeling quite overwhelmed and directionless about furnishing my rooms. My patience for making decorating decisions had worn thin, and I felt I lacked the vision and expertise to pull it all together. However, Susan was an absolute revelation. She possesses an extraordinary level of expertise and immediately put all my anxieties at ease. What truly impressed me was Susan’s ability to take my vague ideas and transform them into a concrete plan. She expertly guided me through furniture selections that perfectly suited my style and needs. But the real game-changer was when she created a sophisticated 3D design of the rooms. Seeing the furniture seamlessly integrated into a lifelike virtual representation of my space was invaluable – it eliminated all the guesswork and gave me so much confidence in the final look. I am genuinely grateful for her insightful guidance and remarkable talent. She took a task I was dreading and made it not only enjoyable but also incredibly stress-free. If you or anyone you know is grappling with decorating decisions, feeling uncertain, or simply lacking the time and patience to tackle it, I cannot recommend Susan Bennet highly enough.
