- BRBenito RazoJul 24, 20251.0Wow and unbelievable with this assistant manager named Shirley .I had an issue with a product at another Leslie's as I was looking for a new Polaris sweeper and they had it in this Concord store ..When I first spoke with Shirley I explained my situation about a wrong sweeper that needed a booster in which I didn't want so since they had the one that did not need a booster I said ok Great I will exchange there and I didn't open it or definitely did not use it and Shirley says we'll im going to open it and inspect it so no problem do what you have to do take note I did not open it at all so I took it back to the original store that sold ne the one I didn't need and No problem the assistant manager by the name of Alex was very professional inspected it and no problem reimbursed my money and told me to go to the concord store because they had one there ...as I was speaking with the Shirley I was out in front in which she told me..Sir Sir Sir excuse me im sorry I have a long line but she was just on the phone and no customer was there so she Lied not good thats unprofessional..Then I walk in to purchase the correct one and the lead clerk named John assisted me no problem I payed I grabbed it and Shirley is just on the phone and thatd fine ..I come home and realized that my sweeper had tape on it and not the factory sealed tape so it appeared open, refurbished , or used as I called back to speak to John and asked why did they sell me a opened and not new sweeper .He said oh I didn't know so I ask to speak to this very rude unhappy miserable lady the reviews talk about ..I asked her a simple question is this sweeper used , refurbished and opened because the instructions and starps were cut and papers all over ..She rudely cuts me off and says bring it back as we will reimburse you ..All I asked was this used etc and she said "Im not qualified to answer that " ! Wow ive never heard of such lame response and I said your an assistant manager you should know..And continued to insist I bring it back very rudely and said if I have a problem call Customer Service because she doesn't have time to be on the phone..So yes I was upset and I said I will call Customer Service and she said call them and tell them and complain on her ,John and anyone that comes in the store very very uncalled for and very dumb to talk like that ..So yes I called and I have a case number as they take it serious..John needs to retire as and Shirley needs to get fired !! She even called the first store in went to tell them about my complain she didn't have to do that she's playing detective LOL.. ive been a leslie Customer for 20 plus years and never ever experienced that type of energy or unprofessionalism ! Very miserable lady she is a Liar and should be talked to I will continue to shop at Leslie's because they have everything i need she will not stop me from shopping there ..Maybe that store aslomg as she is there ..But after she said call whoever you want and complain about everything and everyone she literally just hung up on me ..I did want to go back but im glad I called Leslie's Customer service and they were very amazing and serious a out the claim ...This lady has serious issues her name is Shirley and doesn't act like an assistant manager ..She is horrible and John is like her puppet as I wanted to record the conversation she got very quiet and I encourage people to just beware of Shirley the miserable lady her body language and demeanor will say it all ...Fire her ! She never answered my question if it was refurbished ,opened, or used ..
