- KNKing NationApr 23, 20261.0Rented at Extra Space Storage. Call center told me I could go straight to my unit, gave me a gate code, and said a lock would be inside. I paid and entered with the code they gave me, did nothing wrong. As soon as I got there, a guy runs up saying the cops are on the way because I didn’t check in first. Then another employee starts filming me and telling me to go to the office. After being threatened like that, no way I’m going into the office. I left immediately, then called back and Tony was unapologetic and said I needed to show ID after the fact, which was never explained before. Megan signed me up and never mentioned any of this. Totally unprofessional, people there were rude and out of line. Don’t rent here.
